Nova Warp or Blade Barrage? Which is more annoying?

Blade barrage. If I hear nova warp I can escape but once the barrage animation starts, even if I dodge behind cover and the knives animation then starts I still die. I'm effectively being killed because someone jumped in the air. It's nonsense.

Blade barrage is fine it can be dodged around a corner but the warp may last too long and should drain more energy for the blinking in it.

I’d have to do blade barrage. Nova warp is easy to gun down if you have at least one teammate nearby to help but blade barrage is near impossible. I swear every time a hunter uses it against me I can see him gain health on activation but maybe that’s just the super armor or whatever.

They are supers... They are all annoying to deal with and really fun to use. They wouldn't be supers otherwise. Just part of the game. Remember. While you may be annoyed, it is equally fun to use and others may also be annoyed when you are using them :) As far as counters for Nova Warp, I have found the Sentinel Suppression Nade works wonders. Just boop em and shoot them in the face. Very satisfying and also super annoying when your on the receiving end. Nothings worse than when you cast your Super Amazing, Super OP Nova Warp and get ready to go Hamm and Rack up the kills with an evil smile on your face, just to be shut down as soon as you round the corner by a tiny lil boop nade thrown by your Neighbored friendly Titan :) When I'm not on My Titan, I usually just run. If I'm far enough away, I'll stand my ground and FIGHT to make Shaxx Proud! I just gun then down with my Bygones. Like 3/4 to almost a whole mag to the face usually does the trick. Helps out when you team shoot them too. For Blade Barrage, well there is not much you can do other than take it to the face "insert Meme here". Haha. At least I have not found a way to counter it besides dying or getting lucky and ducking behind a box or a wall. Just my experience though, doubt I can Speak for others.

Nova Warp. Hands down the most annoying super. I'm not calling for a nerf or anything, but damn... it lasts forever, kills you through floors and moves you around the map like a monorail at Disney World.

3 RepliesBlade Barrage deserves to deal the damage it does. It's a shutdown super, not a roaming super. It hits once and then it's over. Nova Warp, on the other hand, can kill anything that steps inside its bubble and then run around for an additional 10 seconds doing the same all over the map.

Shoulder charges and nova bomb grenades. Or, one hit kill abilities on two of the three classes. 😈 Supers are supers. If you are annoyed by them, you are in the wrong game.

Blade barrage is annoying but warp is more effective. But they couldn't do shit to me last night when I ran my Titan in crucible for the first time in 3 weeks lol. Sentinal main, I used doomfangs and got 3-4 supers a game.

1 ReplyI have never been killed by a blade barrage in a way, that a nova bomb wouldn’t have done the job. However, nova warp seems to cause certain death. Behind cover? ...dead. Behind a wall? ...dead. Did someone just pop a warp on A flag? Doesn’t matter I’m on C, few seconds later...dead. Well at least it spawned me back on A so for sure I’m saf... dead.

Both. But Blade Barrage is annoying the most so had to pick BB. It annoys me when someone uses it on me cause they're gonna lose to a gun fight. Second being Nova Warp cause Contraverse Hold's damage reduction is silly. Had practically 7 people shoot at me and wiped 5. Also dumped my self into a group of 5 and was able to take down 3. Dunno how much of reduction it gives but I was able to survive 5 people shooting me, 1 with Luna's/NF.
