WTF is going on? Three Gambit matches in a row where the opposing team burned their Prime Evil in 10 seconds or less. How the hell is that possible without cheating? I’ve been playing this shit almost everyday and never seen a teams kill the Prime Evil so fast.
-
Probably Titan Using his melting point and everyone popping supers or shotgunning him down
-
Take hunters with BB or warlocks with CR and put them in a well behind a banner shield. The boss will die fast.
-
Gambit E-Z cheese* MP+2-3 BB, then IKELOS SG for clean-up if necessary(Shouldn't be though). No stacks are needs using this method if the team is far enough ahead. But with 2 or more stacks Primeval health goes for 100-0 real quick...Like blink, and its gone.

use debuffs and kill the primeval. Not hard. hammer strike, tractor cannon, high dps supers. I use chaos reach with geomag stabilizers. At x6 primeval slayer, I can one shot the ascendant primeval in one super. At x4, two warlocks with geomag boots and chaos reach can melt the primeval in like 5 seconds. You need to use your supers correctly. If your using arc strider, you should be clearing waves of adds or going over to the other side to kill guardians.

15 RepliesI experience the same problem today. We summoned our Primeval first. Got it down to within 10 % health left and the opposing team burned their Prime Evil 5-10 seconds after summoning it... I honestly think they are cheating. Meanwhile my Acrstrider struggles to kill the Witches/Wizards and Primeval....

Edited by BraddyBo: 11/8/2018 7:50:55 AM3 warlocks with geomag boots (buffs chaos reach) plus melting point/ikelos shotgun titan can melt boss with ZERO stacks. Bungie needs to increase boss health by 50% and reduce the game to 1 round to prevent this cheese instead of nerfing geomags. Due to exotic drop buff, more people are getting the boots which is why this cheese is much more prevalent now.
-
No melting point and Chaos Reach and BB and that thing is going down fast. I haven't timed it but my team have definitely killed a primeval in like 20 seconds easily.
-
Melting point + 2 panic of a thousand cuts is pretty affective
-
4 Geo mag chaos reaches do that.

Edited by Forest: 11/7/2018 7:50:07 AMThere are like 30 different videos on youtube explaining how to melt a primevil boss. It is basically well of radiance, luna faction empowering rift, and shadowshot. Which just proves that 4 man teams should ONLY go against other 4 man teams cause a team of randoms will have a very low chance of pulling that combo off cause I done solo in gambit against a 4 man team a few times........ Every time they did that stupid shit and melted the primevil in less than 30 seconds.

This works pretty good. Team chemistry: Tether with Orpheus Rigs, Pole dancer with Raiden Flux, Well of Radiance with Luna Faction Boots, 4th a roaming super of your choice. Ikelos Shotgun on all 4 guys. This is a strategy I learned from Fallout Plays. In the beginning, normally with the motes, we have one guy grab 15 first, then two other guys grab 5 each. When 25 are in, we send over an invader right away so that hopefully 2-3 blockers are there to stop the team from banking. Usually this is enough to stagger your opponent to lose. Otherwise, just keep making orbs and collecting motes. Killing primeval: Tether and kill all the ads, especially the two wizards. Wait for an invader to come in, kill them ASAP. Drop the well next to the boss. Arc strider stuns boss, this way no one gets blown away from the boss stomp. Tether again. The other 3 guys walk up, punch and finish the boss with bottomless shotgun rounds. This strategy isn't 100%, but wins many engagements. Good armor perks to use. Super mods, shotgun scavenger perks. Pump action for your helmet.

Edited by RandoCammando14: 11/7/2018 4:26:24 AMYeah my team and I melt ours in around that time. We have 1 titan for melting point and 3 warlock with chaos reach. Won 15+ games in a row no problem. You can also use blade barrage to tear into the prime evil. Also you can use the tractor cannon if there is no titan.
-
Melting point+blade barrages. It’s a strategy, not cheating.
-
Melting point + anything is nasty
-
Melting Point + Kamehameha.
-
If you did some research then you would see how it’s possible. Don’t accuse people of hacking because you don’t know mechanics
-
Whichever team has more: Sleepers Queenbreakers Melting points EP shottys 1 K voices Will win 9/10 games, Even against a 4 stack waiting until we were a third away from beating our prime before instantly melting theirs...I just left as a 15 Mon game for a blue is not worth it.
-
There are strats to melt bosses. Not cheating just a well coordinated team
-
Git gud and git sum knowledge bruh
-
Melting point, thousand voices, blade barrage
-
1 ReplyEasy, nova warp or arcstrider for wizards and ads, melting point+ep shotty titan, and 2 blade barrages as soon as the melting point hits.
-
1 Melting Point + 3 blade barrages at the same time - Prime Evil is shredded in few seconds.
-
1 ReplyWell from one who burns primes in less than 10 seconds I assure you it’s not cheating.
-
I jumped in a EP back before forsaken and one team melted every boss. I didn’t even know that much damage could be inflicted in that short amount of time. But like everyone else here has said that team had amazing communication and everyone had a part. I was just an extra that happened to be there when it went down. Every boss they had a plan and the perfect mixture of supers to unleash.
-
We do it with melting point and double blade barrage has to be timed right and the envoys must be down but with that method it take about five seconds
-
Melting + Chaos Reach/Blade Barrage/(Well of Radiance + IKELOS SG)
