When I started the quest for Redrix’s I was a moderate crucible player that relied on the same loadout of weapons and tactics. After what seems like 1000 matches later I seem to have a better understanding of crucible gameplay. My stats may not show it but I feel like a more competent crucible guardian.
I’ve barely to never played comp before. Now it’s becoming my game mode of choice. I want to test myself against possibly some of the best D2 has to offer. Even if that means I get killed a lot, I’m still absorbing from seeing how these great players operate.
I never used hand cannons or side arms in crucible and now I’m decent at them. Same thing for different styles of play. Before this quest I would rush in and attack blindly and now I realize stupidly. Not that doing that is bad but I have learned how to play a more deliberate and careful game.
I don’t even get mad at people leaving mid match now. That just requires me to adjust even more. Which I realize is crucible in a nutshell...adaptability.
So with all that being said, if you’re not very good at pvp give one of these quest a go. You’ll be surprised how much better you’ll become at it.

1 ReplyIt's also impossible to not want to kill myself because idiots use lag-switches, DDOS attacks, rapid fire macros, and paid carries using exploits to get an advantage. GG Bungie, GG. You let YouTubers and Twitchers define your game rather than normal everyday average players.
