Literally get maybe 40 kills each game yet they throw people on my team EVERY GAME that can’t even break 5 kills and even help? Why do you do that to me bungie? At least put one decent person on my time because I’m tired of losing because I have crappy ass teammates

Cause you're on that team 😎
-
I feel you. I’m constantly in the top 3 and the bottom 3 always have a negative kda and when I see them play they literally have no hands or a brain

You're on this website, right? Use the LFG!

It's their way to balance the game. I feel your pain. Just about all my teammates are absolute dead weight garbage.

Because It's a friend game and if you don't bring a team, the matchmaking algorithm screws you royally more times than not. I'm an average player. I'm not the worst, I'm not the sweatiest, but I know when I'm getting totally screwed by matchmaking. I'm just patiently waiting for my PSN to expire as I have no other online games to play at the moment. D2 has gone down the toilet

Make some friends? You will always have a chance at having someone you don't want on your team unless you actually make the effort to put a team together.

Git gud

TLDR; Bring someone with you, either someone good to help or someone bad to tilt the algorithm for the rest of your team. It's been long theorized that the game will try to force a 50% win ratio and that it will do this by stacking teams against you or dragging you down with a bad team. A few people have reported that intentionally leaving matches counts as a loss and will tilt the algorithm back into your favor. This is in no way confirmed and very well could be bad luck or the theory built on nothing but salt. Or it could be true. Honestly I really recommend bringing lower skilled players with you. That makes a huge impact on the enemies you fight and how the rest of your team is balanced. just bringing in an average or slightly below average player along with you makes a huge difference. Match balancing can almost determine the match before it starts. Back in D1 my clan leader and I were the only half decent players in our whole clan. We normally would fare badly in Iron Banner but the first time we brought the whole clan with us we destroyed, 20 matches in a row. And it certainly wasn't teamwork. We're a very casual clan and are incredibly unorganized, on top of this most of our clan won't even step foot into crucible unless dragged. My clan leader and I would regularly end matches with 40+ kills a piece while the rest of our team would, on very good matches, have 20 kills between the 4 of them. The skill ratings on the rest of our clan were so low that the matchmaking put us against a team that 2 of us completely eclipsed. Matchmaking in Destiny has always been wack.

1 ReplyEdited by Smough: 11/5/2018 8:03:02 PMMe and my friend came to the conclusion that we were so -blam!-ing amazing that it had to balance us out by putting bad players on our team. Maybe it’s happening to you too?
