Due to "exotic buff" on the 30th more and more people are finding this weapon Why oh why was the aim assist buffed on a weapon already known for its very generous hitbox. Yes the sleeper was right to be nerfed to get some diversity going but the queensbreaker is borderline broken. Lets run through counter options at long range in gambit: Scouts / pulses = not enough flinch, will kill after first or second shot, being bodyshot causing blinding making it harder to track target Tracking Rockets = possible, but only if the invader is distracted by another player, long range tracking is unreliable. Jumping in the air is suicide Linear fusion / sniper / sleeper = possible, but if you get in a 1v1, you will lose due to them being able to see through walls through gambit tracker. That said, sniper is the best of the 3 but is poorly suited for the rest of gambit unless invading Super = will kill more often than not but wasting a super for 1 invade unless protecting a large amount of motes is waste for your team Hide = works, but now you're not doing anything productive, keep on doing this and you will be overwhelmed by blockers / next invasions Colony = imo, the best counter. But this costs an exotic slot heavy slot which could be used for boss dps. Low ammo with bad ad clear. I'm my humble opinion, the addition aim assist from the previous update should be removed and whatever has been done to the hitboxes should be brought in line with other linear fusions. The blinding effect should have no effect on bosses such as primeval and the witches. If you don't understand what I mean by the hitboxes think of it like bullet magnetism. If the shot it close enough, the game will register it as a hit. YouTube any queensbreaker video and watch what is actually in the crosshairs when it fires. A headshot will be given very often even though the gun should have missed. The gun isnt an issue in crucible as the maps as far far smaller and most favour short range engagements. Which doesn't play to it's strengths.
