Do bungie dev play their own game, because it sure doesn't feel like it
Certainly someone at bungie has played gambit and had there entire team wiped by 1 guy who pressed left click 4 times with 1000 voices. When that happens do they just complacently go on with their lives like that isn't the most broken shit since the vex mythoclast? whats the point of even playing gambit if one guy has 1000 and the other team doesn't. The game is just automatically over.

People at Bungie play this game. They're called testers. They write up reports on what's wrong with certain things. These reports promptly get filed(in the shredder).

This is the biased crap that ive posted several times on these useless forums Its not just weapons but character abilities, exotics, and subclasses etc... Its dumb that if someone has 1000 or Sleeper, they can wipe out an entire team in seconds... Its even dumber that bungie is either complacent, doesnt care, and stays silent

They do, but they're awful at it. We've seen them play on streams multiple times and it was just sad. The excuses they used to justify some balance changes have also been ridiculous.

If you grab a power-box from the wall, you only get 2 (I think, not sure it's been forever since I actually grabbed a box with 1K in tow). To get 4 you'd need to camp through two boxes, meaning at least one invasion has occurred, maybe 2 depending on how fast the game is going. There either needs to be a coordinated effort to give that person all the power ammo so they can clean up, or they got Bungie throwing power bricks their way for Christmas. The gun may be good, and there is no denying that, but it also has the longest charge time of any fusion in the game, on top of a delayed explosion for the laser, which means if you don't get directly tagged, keeping your toes off the ground will keep you alive 70% of the time. If you can't hit a sleeper or a sniper shot on the person in the time it takes them to zap you at long range, you're gonna have a hard time from here on out, because more and more people who are getting screwed by RNG are gonna be picking up 1K voices.

They are to busy working on the ad campaign for their next game; not actually working on the campaign of the next game itself. Just a reskin shouldn’t take long.

Or they just take tours through their game thinking tokens and 2 blues are a good reward... Seriously these people dont play the game, they release broken guns knowing they are broken, broken abilities knowing they are broken. They ninja nerf stuff that doesnt need nerfed at all. But as to your whining about a gun that likely only a handful of people have.. is dumb Just dumb and you need to not cry over it.

1 ReplyThey play Destiny/Destiny, they just don’t play it the way the average players does. I imagine the vast majority of Bungie developers play this game on Bungie’s internal servers ( away from the general population ) and do so in fireteams with their co-workers. Only a small percentage of Bungie’s staff probably Destiny 2 outside of working hours, on their own time on PS4, Xbox One or PC, and have invested the same amount of time and effort into this game as the community.

I feel like the 2x and 3x infamy was implemented to get more people into Gambit but I think it might end up making players not want to play Gambit at least for some time. The matchmaking is frustrating at best, I have been getting placed into matches against 4 stacks so often now, I don't remember the last time I was in a Gambit match with only solo players. I have played against solo players with 1k voices and yes it was annoying but you can still win against them, now going up against a stack with 2 1k voices, a well of radiance and a hammer strike like why even put a group of randoms in that situation?

It wouldn't shock me if they were all playing RdR2 right now and outsourcing all the future updates to India.
