Gave the reigns over to a family member 6 months ago, but can't stand to see what I built up get destroyed. No time or desire to keep a character near the top any longer BUT want to play now and then to rescue the damage being done.
A quick observation looks like - It's a mini Mayhem at all times 6s on 4s maps + some re-done oldies....all about the supers now up to 3 per player per match looks like. 1v1 almost non existent. Teams controlling heavy win. Pulse / shotgun meta? Looks like sidearms and SMGs are dead. Also looks like NS is now a dead subclass. Hunters look to have a panic bail out super after all these years lmfao.....yes?
All in all.....it looks to be on the boring side. So how does Bungie want it done? - 5 super mod builds, sit on supers, control heavy.....team shoot in between? That about it?

1 ReplyCrucible is in a bad spot currently with active participation in quickplay somewhere around 7% (down from about 18% before forsaken) As to how bungie seems to want it: They don't want full teams to play against other full teams. They want solo players to be matched exclusively against stacks and also they want blowouts and no evenly matched teams at all. The mercy rule won't trigger even when a match is completly one sided. They want you to really feel the boot coming down hard and long before the inevitable loss. If you aren't running in a decent premade team (to stomp solos) or in the upper 2% of pvp players, expect your kd to suffer and be called out for it when you mention the bad matchmaking in the forums. tl;dr You are better off staying away from crucible. Let the number of active players keep dropping and maybe bungie will finally acknowledge the problem. Maybe too late though.
