Not a single forsaken exotic drop
I've been farming EP, Last Wish a lot, Blind Well, Gambit, random farms using certain adventures, using fireteam medallions and after all that for more than 5-6 weeks I've got nothing, not a single Forsaken exotic, absolutely nothing.
The joke doesn't end there, 6 of my previous exotic drops were DUPLICATES and if that wasn't frustrating enough today I was running NF and suddenly a exotic drop, it was a damn Y1 drop and a duplicate on top of that.
Is this how Bungie reward players that are invested in the game, trying every single method to maybe get something? I'm incredibly disappointed and frustrated, thank you Bungie.

I know alot of people might not agree with what i have to say but exotics are “exotic” for a reason, i feel like if i just grinded a couple of crucible matchs or nightfalls it would make the game alot more...idk boring i feel like bungie wants the exotics to feel more rewarding, you did a lot of work to earn that exotic, but it might also be that they just accidentally lowered the chance of getting them.

Been on destiny 2 for ten minutes to complete that so called exotic quest and after next week I’ll not be on until the next dlc release due to not getting a single exotic after the first week of forsaken’s release.

Yeah, dropchances of exotics is horrible atm, they should have left if the way it was before Forsaken, was way better and more satisfying

1 ReplyI've pulled three old exotics just this weekend! Helm of Saint 14, synthoceps and doomfangs I love how they fixed the forsaken drop rates and fixed duplicate drop protection! Sigh.......

After the patch I got Ursa Furiosa and Cerberus +1 within two minutes of eachother. One from daily gambit and one from powerful reward bounty

1 ReplyMy advice is to stop using fireteam medallions. I hadn't had an exotic for weeks and pretty much always had a medallion running. Didn't bother with one this weekend and got 5 exotics in one day, 4 of which were new.

When bungie patched the latest version with the higher exotic drop rate last week I didn’t see any improvement whatsoever. I still had zero Forsaken weapon drops since the DLC launch. However, playing through the weekend must have triggered something in the game system. I first got the autorifle as a world drop during haunted forest. Then, as I completed Ikora’s weekly challanges I was rewarded with the hunter luckypants (which wasnt in my collection so it counted as a new item). Then again, returning some bounty, I believe it was the drifter’s turn to reward me with the wavesplitter! All within a couple of days! Then yesterday I finally completed the Nessus blitz on my huntress and guess what: failsafe rewarded me with the new sword (whatever name it is). Something is definetly changed. This much exotic drops within so little time can’t just be luck!

Just a suggestion - stop playing so much. Take a day or two off D2. Then when you get back on go and play some stuff that is a little challenging, like the ascendant challenge, blind well, 8 DC daily bounties, etc. It worked for me - took a day off and the next time I played had 2 new Forsaken exotics drop in just a couple hours of play. But it is still all RNG. If your luck is good you'll get the new exotics. If your luck is bad, more worthless legendary gear.

Were you one of the guys saying that exotics dropped too frequently prior to forsaken? If so, well now your wishes have come back to bite you in the ass. Bungie has been like and ahamkara in regards to patches for D2, they fix the issue how it’s stated, word for word. You have to be very delicate with your phrasing of these issues so you don’t have to come back here to complain. [spoiler]p.s.: move this to feedback so the drop rate might further be increased.[/spoiler]

3 RepliesI’m quitting because of this. I payed bank to get all the DLCs to be able to play this expansion and I have yet to get any drops. Every single playlist and strike is less fun than D1 was not even to mention the PvP part is less fun too. I’m just going to play another game and wait for Anthem (I hope that’s good)

So......what is that weapon equipped in your heavy slot? Definitely not a quest exotic because at the end of the raid it is not a guaranteed drop, just a chance at getting it.

Bad news guys. It's just shitty RNG on your part. I've had 5 exotics since Forsaken. 3 of them (the first 3) were dupes. Over the weekend after the recent update I got 2 more. Both were new exotics. I picked up the Two-Tailed Fox and WaveSplitter. So they do drop, and the duplicate protection seems to be working. You'll just have to keep trying.

I'm incredibly disappointed and frustrated, thank you Bungie.[/quote] I also haven't received a single exotic drop and I play 6-8 hours a day, I'ma a try hard at times but being a try hard doesn't cut it when it comes to getting a decent exotic, they need to up the chance of getting exotics instead of nerfing it.

I feel your pain! I have not had a single exotic drop from forsaken... I keep getting -blam!-ing tractor canons.... It's annoying. To make matters worse, I keep getting glimmer only out of loot boxes from public event's! It's to the point where I'm about to delete the game... No point in playing if you literally get no rewards.

I took this week off of Destiny for some good old red dead redemption 2. I was planning on getting some Destiny grind in for new exotics tomorrow since they patched the dupe rate. Looking at the comments, they didn’t fix jack. WTH, Bungie? I am completely convinced you guys are trying to kill your own game at this point.

Man... I really... REALLY must have some good luck in this game. Just since the update on Tuesday, I have gotten TWO new exotics to drop. One from completing a daily and another just from killing a High Value Target. Queensbreaker’s Bow and Shards of Galanor (which I wanted since I saw them). And on top of that, I haven’t even gotten to play much this week due to work (having to get up at 5:30am suuuuuucks). Just do what I do, don’t try going looking for them. Just play normally and kill baddies and maybe, just maybe, you’ll see that golden drop with a new exotic waiting for you.
