I downloaded the game yesterday on PC and am unable to play as every time I boot up the game, I am met with the message You must restart the application using Blizzard's Battle.net app in order to play Destiny 2. It is also followed by the error code: buffalo. I have gone through the basic trouble shooting listed in the forums for these problems. I am launching the game from the battle.net app in the first place and do not have Destiny 2 on multiple systems or PCs (this PC is the only one I own with battle.net downloaded). So far I haven't seen anything on the forums that solves this issue.

3 RepliesI'm getting the same issue. I've had D2 on PC since just after forsaken and had no issues until yesterday. I get error code: buffalo, which forces me to close the game and I see that my Battle.net app has lost connection. If I try to open any related Battle.net websites they will not load. However all other connections like discord or other websites work just fine. What region are you from? I'm in Australia and have seen a few posts on Blizzard forums saying TPG and iiNet customers are being affected by this same issue across different titles. I've also done troubleshooting with no success yet.
