It completely takes away the idea of a person with a title being dedicated to the game. Instead, it simply shows that they are lucky.
I don’t want to be grinding gambit for 3 meatball spawns that isn’t going to happen in order for a chance to get the Dredgen title. Likewise for Cursebreaker. Spent god knows how long doing the oracle glitch and not a single cosmetic drop. Wayfarer is just even more bullshit. I don’t have the time or the RNG to obtain all of the gear, including and especially, the strike exclusives which refuse to drop anyway.
These titles should represent a player’s dedication to obtaining them, but instead, they merely represent luck. Please change this soon, it’s getting more frustrating each day.

Nah, it's fine.

4 RepliesFirst, you have exactly the same RNG as everyone else. Second, saying you don’t have the time contradicts your idea that triumphs should be about dedication to the game. What shows dedication more obviously than time invested?
-
1 ReplyIt’s not the ONLY triumph required, so i think the additive collection requirement is fine. Yeah, it’s luck based, but overall just meaning you gotta grind.
-
4 RepliesSo speaking as someone who has the dredgen title I have to disagree with you there, to me the collections is a way of you showing that regardless of your luck you’re dedicated to getting that title.
-
It also is annoying that strange terrain hasn’t dropped in months.

7 RepliesThey are supposed to be special. They don't change the gameplay. Now exotics are too rare, but just titles should be rare or they lose their value. It shows you played ALL the content thoroughly and rewards players who stuck through destiny 2 through the entire time.
-
2 RepliesI dislike it's all got loads of CoO and Warmind crap I have zero intention of playing so I won't ever get any, oh well. BFV soon 💁♂️

1 ReplyWhile I gave up on this pathetic game long before forsaken, looking at the requirements for the collections, I can understand your frustration. Having to grind for all those items to be called a wayfarer or whatever is just complete bullshit.

1 ReplyEdited by Vomiting_Wolf: 11/3/2018 11:12:45 AMThey won’t. Enjoy the grind, it isn’t meant to be overnight.
