So apparently the sitting down emote in a Gambit lobby means a team won't invade?!?!
I must have missed the memo on this. I remember in D1 trials, waving off heavy ammo (and remember finding out the hard way when a team waved, I took the heavy and got hate mail).
So apparently people in D2 are starting to do the same thing? When people sit in a lobby, it means they will not invade your side. When the hell did that start?!?!?!
Normally in a lobby, I am doing other things. Looking at Destiny Item Manager, checking emails or LFG for raids. I rarely pay attention to my team or the other team anymore.
It appears the 4 clan members on the other side, and 3 people on my side knew the cue. And I didn't. Not that I got many kills or denied motes, but needless to say I got mail from the other team that sitting down means no invading. Meanwhile, I was standing the whole time, so I never sat down in the first place.
So in case you see people sitting, it might mean they don't plan to invade. Oops.

what point of this to not invade... so they just kill enemies and pe but, not invade... hardly a big deal... or am I missing something from them not invading... I could do with a kill lobby so I can kill guardians in their super... be nice have that set out so I invade and they all pop their but dont do anything with them and let me kill them for my damn dregen triumph missing - lol

Invading is half the fun IMO so I would never agree to that. Good luck finding people who will. lol

I'd do the same thing that I did in d1. Still grab heavy. Not giving up a free win just cause the enemies are stupid and don't want heavy/ to invade.

Lol Interesting. I haven't heard of that until now. I'd have a hard time trusting the other team on that. Same for D1 Trials.

which I would take as they can't handle invaders while they are killers at destroying the trash mobs. So indeed why not try to get the game catered to your strengths and away from what gets you losses. Taking out half the the challenge in the game mode is stupid as hell. You do you. Don't play their game and expect anything but a loss.

I would never trust that. Maybe if i was in a four stack,fighting a 4 stack, and i got a actuall message then i'd play nice. But thats it.

The heavy thing was understandable, it kind of ruined the entire round, but this?? Invading is THE point of Gambit!! There are Patrols out there for anyone who wants to kill waves of enemies with no interruptions.

Ha screw that. If I have a bounty that says denie someone motes I'm doing it. I might die in the process but I'm doing it. If you want common curtasiy for this game then stop defending the reasoning behind competitives take away the point pentaly for losing and don't invade the enemy unless they do it first. But overall DTA don't trust anyone.

10 RepliesI dont believe this is true. I tend to sit in the waiting lobby as well. Its just a relaxing emote. "Calm before the storm" kind of thing. Because honestly, all the other emotes come off as taunting. Dancing, sad trombone, raising toasts. Not 1 emote other than the sitting emote comes off as non-offensive.
