As mentioned in the TWAB today, we are going to be making some feedback threads to help us track the community’s thoughts on the current state of the game, and what direction you want to see it move in. This first one is a wildcard. Tell us… whatever you want. Here are a few prompts, but feel free to write whatever. We will be back soon for some more targeted discussions.

Gambit The Dreaming City / Blind Well activities The weapon system Loot at Tess Daily and Weekly Bounties The new ghosts The Halloween events Destiny 2 lore and triumph card system Strikes and nightfalls Powerful gear Ascendant challenge Tangled shore What would you like to see changed in the future? -Remove armored cores- Only allow infusion for weapons and gear to be upgraded using legendary engrams and glimmer. Keep what worked in destiny 1. -Remove glimmer cap- Remove current glimmer cap and increase max cap to 999,999. -Remove Pay to Play for future DLC- The only dlc that should cost money should remain only the season/annual pass. Future dlcs, allow only through game update. Allow the player to feel that when you purchase the season/annual pass that it is GUARANTEED loot received that is not obtainable in game. Also allow the loot to have good rolls and stats. - Vendors- Each vendor should have their own rare quest that allow you only to obtain a weapon or armor only through them. The gunsmith and the other vendors are kind of a waste of time in my opinion, since they do not have better loot. Also with vendors, remove the power level cap. For example, if I am power level 600, I should get a power level item of 600 when turning in items to the vendor. -Weekly Crucible Events- To enable weekly crucible events, rotate them on a 2 week recurrence and allow them to be permanent. For example, Week 1 - SRL Week 2 - Faction Rally Week 3- Trials Week 4 - Iron Banner -Weapon Balancing- Enhance weapon damage for all weapon types. -In-game rewards- The rewards obtained in game for physical merchandise should be free. The player will feel accomplished and rewarded for their hard work. But still allow items from the bungie store to be purchased. -New weapon types and designs- I do not know how much time and effort is put in designing new weapons, but for future content, please stop with the re-skin of the weapons. Better outfits sets and weapon sets. For example, the Origin Story and the Horror story is the same exact weapon. Just colored differently. I like the dreaming city and new raid designs. Increase the power level cap to 800. What would you like to see added? More armor, more melee weapon variety, stance/attack variation. Exotic double quickfang. More exotics that are not D1 re-rolls. -special weapon request- A flamethrower! -Exotic leg armor- Exotic leg armor should have their own jump sound effect. Players need to feel the difference and include lore background explaining why. -Sparrows- Add a Speedometer to the right corner of the screen when driving any sparrow. Enable turbo boost for rare/legendary sparrow Enable missiles, rockets, machine guns attachments for exotic sparrows. Enable customizations on sparrows such as clan emblems, decals and stickers. -Shaders- Enable shader customization for all equipment Add a shader option to “Apply all” to the equipped weapons or armor. -Quick weapon swap- It has been a nightmare since D1 to keep having to pause the game to change a weapon. With the Directional pad, add the ability to assign a preferred weapon for quick swap. -No more D1 weapon exotic quests- In my opinion, I honestly think that destiny 2 should stop re releasing D1 weapons. If I want to experience the D1 weapons, I’ll go back and play D1. The current quest for the thunderlord weapon is not worth it for me. And that weapon was not that good from D1. If it is Bungie’s intention to bring them all back, then do not put them in exotic quests. Include them in the algorithm on how legendary/exotic engrams are obtained in game. That will satisfy and surprise all players. Add a timer for how long the player has played the game for each guardian class. -Individual player rewards for Crucible- Let’s not confuse this with daily and weekly bounties. In the crucible, reward the player with a good loot item (random and not duplicated) for having the most kills, efficiency, capture rate, etc. and place it in a ranking system. I would like to know where I stand in the ranks so that I can become one of the best crucible players. -In game Character Editor- Enable the option to change your character appearance while in game and include more faces, hair, skin colors and cosmetics. -Trading system- Add a effective trading system that players can exchange loot with each other. Add more end game content to keep the player engaged. Thank you for your time in reading my post.

I have over 1500 hours in this game A 1000 of which on my hunter and since the update has come out for exotics all I’ve gotten is the same old year one crap that kept dropping before you guys pretend to listen to the community but my guess is y’all are falling Back into your old ways of not listening to anybody and actually not fixing anything. So if you aren’t listening why not take this feedback to your dev team Get rid of the duplicate process only introduce duplicates when you have all the exotics you have enough noobs That that’s going to take them a while to get all 112 exotics

CLASS ITEMS Make them cool again

2 Replies•Slow down heavy spawn rate in PvP •Either buff primaries further or nerf shotguns •Remove enhancement cores. Masterwork and infusion should only use legendary shards and materials.

Edited by Lia: 11/8/2018 3:26:54 PM
What have you liked most about Destiny 2 post Forsaken? What would you like to see changed in the future? What would you like to see added?
1) The Exotics for forsaken are absolutely insane and some of my favorite in the franchise. (2-tails+ Ursa is my dream...) 2) I want to see Factions become PERMANENT Vendors, not just a once in a while event with mediocre loot. That being said, if you do make Factions an all-the-time thing, it would make sense for you to increase the amount of time invested in trade for permanent vendors. That doesn't mean we want Faction Rallies to go away. Maybe we can change them in a way that boosts Faction vendor progression, like those 2/3x Valor weekends we have. Maybe also add some pinnacle weapons or exotics, like Malfeasance or Redrix's Broadsword, to each Faction. 3) I want to see some New factions added to rallies. We have had the same one for a while, and it would be nice to shake things up a bit. Maybe do some of those cut content factions, like the cult of Osiris, who can offer Trials weapons from D1 with new rolls, or the 7 seraphs, who can have a militaristic golden age black ops kind of feel. Or maybe send things in a completely different direction, and have a Hive-worm worshipper faction or a Calus faction. It would also be nice to prioritize new exotics over old. Sure, it would be great if we were to see something like TLW, Ice Breaker, or Twilight Garrison come back, but we should not have a content release with 50% returning exotics and 50% new. My recommendation is make it at most 70/30 for New/Old Exotics. Finally, When the inevitability of D3 coming into sight, I would like to point out 3 things we absolutely want and do not want. A) More recognition for our accomplishments in D2, maybe even D1. I'm not talking about a slideshow when we first boot up the game and a couple emblems; What we want is our weapons, Armor, even our ships. B) More endgame EVERYTHING. People will always go through quests and story missions faster than expected, and we have to prepare for that. That does not mean we should do something like limiting how fast a person should progress. To make it more simple We don't want to limit how fast a person can go, we need to make the Racetrack longer. And this ties into my final point... C) Let us have as much creativity with the game as possible! In other words: -Keep the Forsaken weapon system. But here are some changes I would like to see: Make Trace rifles more abundant (meaning Legendaries), make swords special weapons, keep bows, smgs, and sidearms, keep granade launchers, breach and drum, and machine guns. Also add some new Heavy options, like Heavy railguns. -Make a Hybrid of D1/D2 Forsaken's super system. Allow us to have Multiple supers, multiple melees, grenade modifications, multiple perks, and allow us to mix and match All of them into our own, personal playstyle. Imagine running Sunbreaker with the Roaring flames perk, Sunspots AND melting point! -Keep Gamemodes like Gambit, maybe with some improvements as well. I have a slight suspicion that it won't come over to D3, which would be really unfortunate, because it has to potential to be one of the greatest things this franchise has ever seen! Thank you for taking time to read this (not so) little list of mine! I wish all of you guys the best!

Forsaken has been amazing overall, great job and very excited for upcoming DLC. I love the shattered throne and PVE overall. One thing I would like to see more of is nightfall/strike specific loot. Was a favorite part of D1 (imago loop, cloaks, etc) and would love to see a plethora of different items. Primarily weapons and armour, but ghosts, vehicles, and other cosmetics are great too! Even just updating older ones (ToP strike hand cannon) into forsaken style would be a good fix too. Other than that most other comments seem to handle my other concerns. You guys will fix some of the other issues over time. Thanks!

2 Replies- Un-nerf scouts - Un-nerf rocket tracking - Remove Gambit catch up mechanics - Make glory be based off of individual performance ( ie K/D or K/DA). -Implement SBMM - Dedicated servers - Bring in some legacy strikes and raids from D1. - Let us get into our D1 vault. - Keep delivering quality DLC like Forsaken.

The Forsaken expansion is in a great state altogether right now. One suggestion for a future update or expansion would be to make Sparrow Racing League a monthly rotation event that happens for one week. Because I am one of the very few here who legitimately enjoys SRL (and kicks ass in it).

I am expressing this again.. Our powers should not harm the guardians if they are need it or close to it. May I ask what is the point to wearing armor that suppose to protect us from damaged but the most damage of comes when guardians use Grenade...

xur to be able to sell forsaken exotics, strange terrain nightfall loot (braytech osprey) needed to complete destination: curse of Osiris and warmind badge yet the hasn't been an option since forsaken has dropped and the hollowed lair has been a nightfall for the past 4 weeks in a row or make the strike specific loot the same of how it was in destiny 1 with the nightfall having the best drop chance for the guns the exotic patch to protect against duplicate weapon drops doesn't work my friends last week got forsaken weapons and I got a hardlight witch I already had if you(bungie) wanted exotics to more available making three of coins buy able from xur would of worked and limit the max stack to three or four (I know way u removed them but this could of been easier fix), the wanted escapee kataskopos hasn't spawned for me after 10 runs on the strike tree of probabilities, blind well tier 4 only dropping one weapon or Armor each week but after every tier 3 I played the last 3 weeks everyone always makes it tier 4, on quest steps have a option to change it from a percentage to a fraction so its easier for people to gauge how many kills/completions are left, the lore pages for the wishes could have a image of the code in the description/detail page, ascendant time trial triumphs have the time on them so people know how quick to run it, forsaken activities only dropping forsaken gear not year one gear, not having faction rallies happen at all over this season so we can't get the masterworks/catalysts for the sweet business, graviton lance and sunshot this season, Petra and spider have renown/ rep bars, being told drop rates of guns that you get from events i.e. lord of wolves dropping from spiders wanted bounties, secret triumphs give a clue to unlocking them, more events like the festival of the lost in the future, more patrol actives like the latent memories from warmind, not getting caught in a loading screen for 10 mins when I go into the spine of keris and then falling to my death because its over hole in the ground, xur to appear on the map like in year 1, crucible players being matched by rank and level playing a team of level 50's when your only 20 not fun, when swapping gear between characters using the apps that all the triumphs for lost sectors and golden/region chests pop up each time you change an item over, spiders powerful bounties being a weekly rotation(fixed) not random so you get them same two it keeps switch between, mars sleeper nodes being knockout I had the same three and rarely get a new one drop, the tracked triumph being with the tracked bounty/pursuits when ghost is pulled up, having weekly reset be 10am for each time region, having factions back to how they where it destiny 1 where you can rank them up with out faction rallies that may only happen once per season, drop chances for catalysts in crucible and strikes to be increased I've only had one drop from each since warmind, being able to master word exotic armor

More vendors with new bounties side missions. Gun smith need to have his our bounties bad. Ikora need her own side quest and bounties or just remove her from the tower. Harwthrone have the bitchy syndrome and need her express need to be change or I want to bitch slap her

3 Replieswhat have you liked the most about forsaken? The pve section is really well done from the raid to the storyline and the corruption with the shattered throne. New weapon system is good in both pvp and pve. problems First of all Telesto.. needs a nerf Power ammo on competitive matches 1 time for round or completely removed Snipers on consoles are useless now comparing them to shotguns Autorifle and scout are useless now Some exotics are broken : 1 ursa furiosa 2 ophidia Spathe 3 one eyed mask to be add Possibility to change perks of armor peace ( even if expensive) Possibility to re buy forsaken weapons Possibility to rejoin competitive matches New matchmaking for solo players (this is a must)

2 RepliesI’ve enjoyed Forsaken for the most part, it’s definitely the best D2 has been and bits are even better than D1. What I think needs looking at are mods and mod component. I just never have enough to buy even some of what I want. Can you make it so we can either buy them with glimmer or shards or give the Gunsmith weekly/daily bounties to earn them? Bloom needs removing. Shots should go where you aim. Kills need to be down to skill rather than RNG.
-
Can we have the Ultimate Bounties they required to all to all planets and the reward will be 20 master work cores, all plant materials, glimmer, tokens for Vanguard and crucible and one boots of rare exotic or exotic catalyst that we are hard to get..

2 RepliesWhat would you like to see changed in the future? Bungie Team, I was a Day 1 Destiny player and greatly enjoyed my time there, but staunchly avoided purchasing Destiny 2 after having played the initial Beta and seeing the direction the game was heading. Don't think I was alone in that. Upon learning more about the recent Forsaken release and the planned changes to the game I decided to give Destiny 2 a shot. A "coming home" of sorts. I will genuinely say that I have enjoyed my time thus far, and even though I still have a long way to go I believe the overall experience "feels" like it is in a good place. However, there has been one (and only one) element of the game that I have not enjoyed and, dare I say, even despise. That thing being ........ Competitive Crucible. I thoroughly enjoy me some Crucible, and I certainly put in the time in Destiny 1. I'm no pro, but I'd like to think I'm no pushover either. The base Crucible play in Destiny 2 has been enjoyable, but Competitive has been nothing short of a mind-bendingly frustrating experience. Granted, I have only just gotten into the game and am still catching up on the current state of play, what the preferred/best weapons and loadouts are, etc. Bearing that in mind, the Competitive Crucible mode seems to be skewed toward punishing players vs. rewarding them for time spent. It's not even the actual matches themselves that I find punishing. I'm cognizant that it is in fact Destiny 2's competitive multiplayer mode and therefore one should expect that the matches are in fact "competitive". That part is fun and challenging. What I do find needlessly punishing and incredibly tiresome is the way the mode currently handles the progression. If nothing else, I'm viewing this from a pure time investment standpoint. I think I'd be pretty confident in saying that no one likes the idea of working hard at and putting in the time with something/anything only to be punished for doing so, reaping no progress. You've stated that you do not want progression within the Competitive mode to be like "a second job", and unfortunately that is exactly what it currently feels like: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47117 On a personal note, I've been stuck in a vortex swinging back and forth between 1200 and 1700. I think you're alienating a good chunk of your player base that would otherwise be interested in playing Competitive, and that would ultimately make the mode more compelling as a whole. Having the current progression tied solely to wins AND losses is not the right way to go in my personal opinion. My suggestion(s)? Fine. Keep the progression tied to wins ....... and WINS ONLY. Eliminate the loss penalty. You only gain points/progression for a win and that's it. Or, if you find the prospect of having no penalty for losing a match concerning to the structure of the mode, make the point penalty minimal - maybe 1 or 2 points per loss. That way if a player/team experiences a bad string of matches they are not then fighting to regain large amounts of ground that they had previously attained. The current structure of point progression can quickly and easily wipe out entire hours, days, etc. of progress for having an unlucky streak of losses. If viewed as a "risk vs. reward" scenario, it's feels almost entirely risk for little to no reward a good chunk of the time. I think matchmaking tweaks could make a big impact here as well (i.e. solos vs. solos, fireteams vs. fireteams), but that's a whole other subject. But, again, my larger concern here is the time investment. Perhaps I am selfish in saying so, but my gaming time is scarce and precious these days between work, personal obligations, and everyday life. I want to enjoy that time and feel as though I am making progress with that time spent. I'm very much interested in the Competitive Crucible, but its current landscape is (largely) not enjoyable when inputting into the equation of Time vs. Progression. I sincerely do not mean for this to come across as "complaining" and instead hope it reads as constructive criticism that I think resonates with many other players and that many (hopefully) would agree with. If you've read this far, I thank you for doing so. Furthermore, I look forward to your feedback and the input of others on this topic. Best, ll MARK ll

Given that the game runs a hybrid P2P network with some elements handled by Bungie servers, can we get some details on recommended up/down connection speeds for playing. This is especially relevant to playing PVP where a given connection is sharing information with 11 other people plus Bungie servers. While I’m sure the volume of information is kept as efficient as possible undoubtedly the size of packet data has increased over the years. The reason I wonder is that while I have a ‘theoretical’ 16mbps download (real time average 5-7mbps) line the average upload speed is around 0.6-0.8mbps, peak being around 1.1mbps. This is probably typical of the non fibre connections (certainly in my area, where they have no plans to upgrade the local phone exchange) and while at peak this may be fine I’m sure when it’s low (0.6) is when I start to see lag (which is my end causing the issue not anyone else) and obviously that then means the damage referee will effectively punish the bad connection. I’m in process to moving to Cable Fibre which will improve average upload to around 12mbps, but would be good for others on non fibre to be aware of requirement and recommendation for maintaining optimal game performance. If expectations were set on reasonable connection required to operate it may help people understand whether the issue is the game (default position, myself included) or their connection

Solo playlists for qp, comp and gambit..

Infusion is still horrible.
-
changing flinch (especially on snipers) would be great, changing the intrinsic perk on armor once its masterworked, being able to upgrade perks to their enhanced version so if I get a god roll piece of armor but it doesnt have enhanced targeting I can upgrade to that, and changing glory so its more solo performance based so if someone on your team leaves and you still play very well you wont lose a lot of glory because you were down a player and vice versa if you win after playing well while your team was not you earn more for that.

1 ReplyPlease, and I mean please Bungie.. Cozmo Please help out the die-hard collectors out. Some of the items listed as obtainable seemingly aren't obtainable at all, or are outdated as to how to get them. Basically, if you give me a collections page, then I want a proper "Obtainable from: X Y Z" Not just Legendary Engrams or vague "Flashpoints", "Faction Rewards" Some of these items seemingly have no way of obtaining. After about 2K Gunsmith parts, I have only received Forsaken Loot. Yet the 'Frontier Justice' says specifically "Source: Earn rank-up packages from Banshee-44" same for 'The Mornin' Comes' "Source: Flashpoint Milestones; Legendary engrams" These are two specific weapons that are year one, and as far as I know, I can ONLY obtain the 'Frontier Justice' from Banshee, yet, he only seems to drop, at a rate of 100%, Forsaken loot. And all of my research for 'The Mornin' Comes' leads me to Failsafe faction rewards, Nessus Flashpoint rewards, which only seem to drop Forsaken loot as well and lastly the potential buyable weapon rotation. I'm not even sure she would even sell the weapon anymore in Forsaken. I thought items that were unobtainable were wiped from the Collections tab? Bugs? Or am I just unlucky and my game is broken? And no, i'm not complaining about or asking to know where "Unknown" items are dropped from. I simply want a better Collections tab, so I can view a known item, go out of my way to collect it via a UI element saying "Obtainable by doing/completing/rng et -blam!-ing cetera. ahh. hopefully i'm not the only collector that's frustrated with the system as is... If anyone in this post reads this, be it Bungie employee or player, thank you. Simply voicing myself for a game I want to be improved upon, and I feel like this is at the bottom of the marianas trench.

Edited by RedKain243: 11/8/2018 10:43:22 AMWhat have you liked most about Destiny 2 post Forsaken? New weapons systems, new raid, shattered throne, collections system, bigger vault What would you like to see changed in the future? 1000 voices has too much rng to obtain it which is made worse by timegating to only 3 chances per week. I have opened at least 18 chests and haven't gotten it and that sucks. Dungeons like the shattered throne would be nice if we could run it every week like raids. What would you like to see added? * An option to automatically dismantle blues (its a waste of time) * Ability to remove mods without destroying gear (it can have a cost, but that cost shouldn't be only destroying the gear) * All curated and fixed rolls available from collections * A kinetic shotgun with trench barrel so that i can finally use more variety in my energy slot. More numbers in the game and patchnotes on actual stats. * More optional matchmaking for ingame activities such as daily heroic story missions, daily heroic adventures, nightfall strikes, etc... * More ingame secrets that are not timegated

3 Repliesbanshee should have bounties for mod components there should be more bounties that reward "enhancement cores" competitive needs a better matchmaking system (all of pvp really but if its going to be called competitive it needs a system that makes sense) please please please thoroughly play test new things before implementing them into the game, push back dates if needed.

Edited by Toa167: 11/9/2018 5:08:16 PMRefund my money because I bought CoO and warmind before forsaken and since it’s free now with forsaken, I need a refund or some kind of compensation. We also need environmental changes as trostland needs a seasonal cycle as it is in Europe right? Besides, give us good looking loot and add more armor glows for us use on armor such as the reverie dawn set but don’t always have to be ascendant for cool looks.

Still have yet to see exotic drops that are not duplicates. I get maybe 1 every two weeks and it's always a duplicate item. Just got Hardlight. Last one was Winters Guilie. Had both of those from D2 launch. These new none quest exotics exsist, right?
