Sturm und Drang exotic engram step
So what do I actually need to do to fulfill the "Decode exotic engram" step in the Sturm quest?
Got some exotic ghost shells from Tess -- didn't help the quest
I got a freebie exotic (Fighting Lion) from Amanda -- didn't help the quest
Bought some exotics from Xur, including the actual engram one -- didn't help
Last night I got an exotic drop (boots) as strike reward -- didn't help
I do realize getting exotics is mostly RNG, but I'm wondering what exactly is supposed to trigger the quest step.

Sigh... got another exotic yesterday and still not triggering... I guess this quest line is bugged for now, maybe they'll fix. I almost feel I should report my own post so someone from Bungie would actually look into this...

2 Replieshaving the same issue, just completed weekly quest in the dreaming city. I got 2 exotics, a weapon and a peace of gear and still nothing. The quest still shows that i need to decrypt and exotic engram.
