40/40 Corrupted eggs NOT dropping Taken Sparrow.
Across both the Destiny 2 & Official Destiny sub-reddit, as well as multiple discords, a few people are finding that destroying the 40 eggs rewards them with the taken sparrow, but the great majority are finding that the triumph isn't dropping the sparrow for some unknown reason. There doesn't seem to be any correlation between what triumphs do and don't need to be completed, as some people got the sparrow from the corrupted egg triumph without having all bones done, or all ascendant challenges done.

Its 2020 and forsaken has been out for nearly 2 years. I got all 40 eggs 39 on my hunter and 1 on my warlock, only to find I didnt get this sparrow :/ bungie please fix your game

I can now "purchase" my "reward". I'm going to wait and see if it ever shows up in my post office. EDIT: Found Harbinger sparrow on Titan, although I have found majority of eggs on Hunter and Warlock. INTerestinggg.....

1 ReplyFinished the 40 eggs today, no sparrow... checked postmaster, checked other characters, nothing. After about 10mins, I then clicked on a Patrol Mission and my sparrow popped up O.o got it... weird!

At first, i thought i had the same problem. I have been researching if the bug was still patched. After reading a subreddit, a person said that they got theirs at the postmaster. So I checked on the companion app for the post master, there was nothing there. BUT i did find mine in my warlock, even though i did all the eggs in my hunter. I even made sure because I never dismantled or made another wishender bow neither transferred it. I dont know if it is only me but might as well check. Hope this helps.

3 RepliesI just got my 40th egg and I made sure I only collected them with 1 character.. because by the time I heard about the issue I only had 1 character reached the Dreaming City.. no sparrow...

seems they fixed it in a way at weekly reset, i received the sparrow in the postmaster

the patch notes said it was fixed, but i can confirm that it is not fixed, i just got the 40th egg from last wish and i didn't get the sparrow.

I don’t know about any other issues with it, but I know that it’s currently bugged where if you collect all 40 eggs across different characters (say you’re missing two on your hunter, but you picked those two up on your Titan) then it doesn’t count. You currently have to have all 40 eggs on a single character

I'm having the same problem. I've gotten all 40 eggs, but I started it on my Warlock, but finished it with my Hunter. My SO got the Sparrow, but I didn't. I wish I knew of this or I would have completed it on my Warlock.. Hopefully there's a fix for this issue.
