Gambit Ship, Sparrow
“The Gambit ship and Sparrow are no longer guaranteed drops“
Really Bungie?! So i grind my ass off to get the third reset for the Dredgen title and now i dont get the last 2 pieces missing? Instead i get the ship and sparrow eventually weeks later? This is BS! Who came up with that idea?
Iam interested what you guys think about that totally unnecessary change!

I agree with bungie on this one. If they were guaranteed drops with the new spawn rates, everything would be way to easy to earn.

All the titles are RNG based on one level or another. Or even worse, time gated. So... Yeah.

It's a balancing that they have to do, so that completing the Gambit Badges and furthermore Dredgen title won't be an easy task. After the patch, most people will have malfeasance as long as they play enough gambit on full curse week. And If the ship and sparrow still be guaranteed, then most of people will have them. After that, then most people will easily get Dredgen title, which will make title lost its meaning as one of pinnacle achievements. EDIT: that being said, I feel the op pain. Hopefully with more meatballs, the faster it would be.

1 ReplyI'd say it's fair, on the strong curse week the meatball will be making a bunch of appearances so making the sparrow and ship have a chance to drop instead will make it so you still got put work in collecting stuff for the dredgen title

8 RepliesBeen playing gambit for 5 hours now. Won every single game and didn’t see the meatball once. I don’t think they increased the spawn rate at all. I quit. Gambit sucks ass.

4 RepliesMeatball will appear as much as every other boss now. If you didnt have them by now, you only had a slim chance of encountering meatball anyway. Nothing has changed really except that Meatball will be handing out Malfeasance quests like candy.

2 RepliesCan't imagine what you all are going through tbh. Killed the meatball 5/6 times I've seen it before they buffed the spawn rates so I guess I was fairly lucky in that regard. [spoiler]I don't know why malfaesance gets so much shit it's fantastic in pvp and pretty fun to use in pve.[/spoiler]

It's part of the spawn rate being increased. It still won't take as long as you think.

To be fair, it's going to be a really common boss on full curse week now. It'll probably be faster than it was before to get them, even with the change.

22 RepliesI wish they hadn't changed this. I just need the ship. I've really played my arse off to try and get this dredgen badge. Bungie are just dragging my playtime on for no reason.

The ghost is from 3 resets. The sparrow/ship are from 2nd and 3rd meatball kills which were guaranteed. Now the malfeasance quest doesn’t guarantee ship and sparrow so who knows how many meatball kills it will take to get those.

At this point just seeing the meatball would be an achievement for me, and I'm at my second rank reset. Bungie need to get better at crunching the numbers.
