Only have a warlock so the super is not very effective and have not gotten a trust to drop after one month of playing gambit... So if anyone has a good solar loadout for comp let me me know.

This was a trick I using during Ib for grenade kills during season 1 but it would work equally well for solar kills. If you have star fire protocol equip. In a gun fight take off the over shield from an opponent and then chuck a fusion grenade to finish them off. You would get credit for grenade and solar kills. The star fire protocols perk gives you two fusion grenades. I generally run solar only and my load out is no turning back, ikelos sg, and sleeper. For close quarters I go for chaperone, ikelos sg, and a solar linear, or a solar rocket launcher. If you don't have an ikelos sg or sleeper I would go for a solar fusion or shotgun. For heavy I tend to opt for a solar linear.

1 ReplyAre you close to an infamy reset in gambit? You get a trust after resetting from the drifter. Not the best roll for pvp but it does the job.

5 RepliesI used dawnblade, weapon wise i used trust or a solar right side of wrong which i chucked a counter balance mod on and heavy i used sleeper. It depends what type of player you are though, do you hang back, do you push, are you conservative for example.

9 RepliesMindbenders Ambition from the Hollowed Lair NF is solar an a great PvP shotty. If you good at fusion's go Merciliss with the catalyst it doubles the range. If your good with snipers go with Twilight Oath, I have the curated roll which has snapshot/ box breathing, I really like it. Sidearms Anonymous Autumn with any combo of outlaw/killclip/rampage/full auto is solid. not sure but Ace of Spades firefly perk is solar, but unsure it that would count. Heck if you have a Uriel's Gift/positive outlook in solar just use that. Sleeper. I have a Roar of the bear RL that has max blast radius, just aim for the ground or their feet. Yes I'm just listing solar weapons, but I don't know you're play style, I would stick with one hit kill weapons so I go back to Mindbender as first choice then you can run Bygones an then Sleeper.
