Wouldn't have killed him TBH. Riven's deception had been unveiled. The Darkness inside him was released (his eyes were clear). Was he a dick? Yeah, but he was no longer a threat. So I would have sided with ghost, he was defeated. Killing him changed nothing about why he was hunted in the first place. Made it worse actually, as now he can't help to undo what was done.
