2 RepliesEdited by Tâxx, Herald of the IRS: 11/2/2018 8:30:21 PMRemade Trilogy with an improved version of the ending in ME3.

I'll take an me4 in the milky way. Andromeda was a let down only introducing 2 new races that were pretty bland.

Edited by Malygos: 11/4/2018 6:18:47 AMRemake. da2 inquisition me3(before the fix) and andromeda have killed off every bit of faith i have in bioware now its all purple hair women trying to make games about inclusivity rather than just good rpg’s. Id say theres an identity crisis in the studio but given its current employees that rings true on many many levels

Remade trilogy, for that sweet sweet immersion and nostalgia. As long they dont change anything about the game itself, except for positive changes that the community liked over the years.
-
I'd like to play it safe with a remake, at least to bring ME1 to the same gameplay quality of 2 and 3

Legit Mass Effect 4

Remake. Or at least something that ties to OG story.

I would actually like to see andromeda redone. It had a decent base to start from, and could have been a legitimately interesting game, but it felt like the writers and designers just got lazy or ran out of time. The main enemy of it was rather dull, but that could have been fine if they were just the start, as there was a much more powerful enemy kind of hinted at, but there was never any sort of payoff to those hints like what mass effect 1 had. The lack of new alien races was also extremely disappointing. One of mass effects biggest features is its alien races and how intricately they are built and given background information, and yet andromeda had a measly 2 that we actually got to know really anything about, one was a rather generic bad guy and the other was a half decent ally, the other two races are some kind of super beings that we didnt get to learn much of anything about other than they are powerful, which wouldnt be bad if there were other races around for us to learn about and interact with. The very start of the story was incredibly disappointing. You dont get much more generic than crashing onto/getting stuck on an unknown planet and the first group you come across shoots at you and you are instantly enemies, and know that those are the bad guys you now face. They could have chosen to start off with a kind of peaceful beginning, like interacting with a new alien race, we could have dealt with an actually devious enemy who doesnt just outright attack, or we could have dealt with helping to bring peace to a galaxy with multiple feuding races. But no they went for the extremely generic sci-fi shooter beginning.

Is say give MEA another chance and give it the DLCs. Then maybe make a ME4 that takes place maybe far future Milky Way.
-
I'd like to see Andromeda finished. I would probably buy another Mass Effect but not a remaster of the original trilogy I've played it to death and did my final playthrough right before Andromeda dropped. If they remaster Dragon Age Origins, I'll be the first in line to buy it.

Stop with quick cash grab remakes. They charge full price for a game you paid for already. Only ones that should be remade are Xbox originals and ps1 games.
-
I would rather they focus 100% on Anthem . And launch with a full game come Feb
-
As someone who’s never played a ME game I’d rather have a legit 4, I heard A LOT of disappointment around it and I’d hate to see it left on a sour note
-
I'd rather have whatever workers at BW that might be tasked with either a ME-Tri remaster or an ME4 be shipped off to Poland to be menial lackeys for the crew at CDPR. Instead of laundry, shopping, gassing up the car, taking the dog for walk, etc. the CDPR folks could focus on and expedite the release of CP2077...
and Bioware could once again have an ever so slight hand in the release of a quality title.
4 RepliesIf the games were remade to have the ME3 combat, armor system, and weapon customization I'd be all for remakes. Hell, even MEA's combat wasn't bad. I liked being able to change between classes on a whim. A much more robust player customization system would be nice too. MEA pretty much dashed my hopes of a good Mass Effect story without Shepard, so remakes 100%.
-
Whenever they do, I want it to be like Mass Effect 1 in terms of well paced story, ME2 in terms of well written side character and nothing at all like ME3. I would like a few smaller hubs to explore like ME2 and maybe MAYBE a single big map to explore. If BioWare can't come back after the annoying DA: Inquisition and disappointing ME: Andromeda and Anthem fails story wise, I'd rather EA give the IP of Mass Effect and Dragon Age to a developer who isn't afraid to make a good story and not put MTX in single player games, so basically CD Project Red.
-
Seeing as how Andromeda was 'meh' and how they cant bring Shepard back from that terrible ending, I'd opt for a remake.
-
The trilogy doesn't really need a remake. The graphics aren't THAT far behind. I'd much rather have a legit Mass Effect 4 made with the same passion and spirit that went into creating characters like Tali and Wrex. And for everyone to forget that Andromeda is an official part of the ME franchise.
-
2 RepliesIt's only last gen. What does it need a remake for?
-
The originals are fine, I'd rather they move forward instead of bringing back the past. The only flaw k had with the OT was that ME3 ending, it's not worth remaking at this point. I'd rather they simply continue Andromeda but reboot it. Get rid of Ryder's childish attitude, get a crew that can be interesting, skip 100 years later where the colonies have grown a bit and then expand more into the Andromeda Galaxy. Also fix the combat as Andromeda takes restricted combat to a whole new lvl for mass effect, it's a joke to hear how it's the best yet.

Despite my fondness of original Mass Effect trilogy, I would really love to see new installment in this game series with new graphics, proper characters, and co-op multiplayer!
-
A new one but still does what ME1 and Andromeda does with the more rpg focused, large worlds to explore. Me1 is my favorite Mass Effect, then Andromeda took two aspect i really loved of that game (exploration and more rpg focused), and had the best ME combat. Though if they shelved the series longer I wouldn't care. I'm more interested in another new bioware ip.
