Why do you think the hunter is dominate in the crucible?
They are mobile and fast and have the best weapon handling between all 3 classes. Every close engagement with is this process ( Dodge jump shotty) icaris grip only helps them. In case you haven't noticed it is very hard to point and shoot midair with a titan/Lock. Hunters do it all the time because they know will every engagement. Coming in D2 you said all classes will be balanced as far as speed. But after spending countless hours in your game I finally concluded that hunters will always reign supreme in the crucible.

1 ReplyOnly advantage is the hunter jump in crucible, they need to make it so everyone can shoot accurately while in the air already.

Hunter utility lies within the jump. They don’t have faster anything besides melee vs warlocks.

25 RepliesI wouldn't say they're dominant, nor easy. Hunters, what do we have: 1. Void-all garbage for PvP 2. Arc- decent, nerfed because titans and warlock cried it was too OP 3. Solar: Cuts is ok, the rest is basically garbage due to poor duration, synergy, or limitation of use (3 shot). Warlocks however have warp, very good, dawnblade that is again good and lasts forever, and stormcaller which has some decency in nonsuper battle. Titans all around have basically all good trees in all subclasses give or take a couple. They consistently have the longest and most effective supers due to a majority of aoe or range aoe attacks. Hunters are not the most OP. I think hunters subclasses and some other class subclasses need to be reworked so that they are viable in pvp or at least bring in/back the exotics that made them viable in D1

11 RepliesDominate lol, theres a difference between a class dominating and class being used by most of the community. They dont dominate, there a just alot of ppl use hunter in pvp.

The real reason hunters are dominate in crucible is becuase they are the only class that lets The player hold their sword behind them, letting the player unleash their true weeb self

hunters have the best jump imo. right now id say nova warp is the best super. all classes can have maxed out mobility so hunters don't really have the advantage there.

Hunters don’t want to expose their overpowered crutch 😂 If this was a buff hunter (which they don’t need) this would have 100 upvotes But yes hunters are the easiest noob class in this game but strangely you see people wanting golden gun and arc staff to last longer, like NO! Get good scrub hunters.

My take on this: Best jump ability for use mid-engagement and overall movement for disengaging Primaries rely more on headshots compared to the last game, so evasivness is rewarded more "Arguably" overpowered traits/mechanics of other class were nerfed/removed(i.e. OG Titan skating, Warlock melee range, etc.)

Nothing in their kit affects weapon handling aside from a couple of exotics. In terms of speed, titans and warlocks make much more distance with their jumps compared to hunters. Hunter jumps are just more controllable I guess is the right word for it. Also, nova warp warlocks are the ones reigning supreme atm

They now have the best panic super class in the game. Quick animation and tracking. Great fun to use in the crucible but way to easy to get right

I do agree with this but there is the problem of titan shoulder charge one shots. On top of that the MK. 44 stand asides give you a overshield after sprinting for a short amount of time so there is that

6 RepliesOkay actually I have never seen it like this. Basically what you're saying is agility not ability wise. We have easy controls kinda because we just have a tiny bounce for a jump. This means we can jump and pull of a couple of shots in the air while other classes can't. But ability wise we are beaten alot except for blade barrage

12 RepliesNo, they are just the most common used. I checked my lifetime crucible kills and I have killed more hunters than the two other classes COMBINED. I’m Giant the Hunter Slayer, Slayer of all hunters.

9 Replies1.) Hunters don't have the best weapon handling cause they have no actual class stats that improve that anymore than titans and warlocks. 2.) Titans can out run most hunters in a straight line plus they do have the skating ability still. Also most hunter armor is mobile based. 3.)compiling about jump shotgun? When titans got slide shotgun shouldercharge? Or warlocks have blink shot gun. 4.) Maybe just maybe those that you face that are playing hunters are just better than you in crucible. Shocking.
