Easy fix for Luna's quest
Replace the Glory rank requierment with earn 2100 glory points. A loss will still affect your rank but not your progress toward Luna. Any positive points earned will count toward completion of Luna's quest.
This would go a long way in silencing the match making conplaints.

Go out and earn it comp you should deff lose points for losing... If not there would he no point of a ranking system. It is a crappy ranking system but still

The quest doesn’t need a fix. Just get good

Or give us more points for each win and less point loos for each loose? So that would still be challanging but it woulndt be painfull if loosing a match. Amd getting kicked or if teamate outrages shoulndt count as a loose for me.

The quest is fine the way it is, it does not need to be changed at all, if anything it is to easy to get!

23 RepliesI’m in favour of this. I’m definitely an above average PvP player, but no matter how you slice it, matchmaking will screw you over. On a streak? 4 stack. Playing solo? Here’s 3 potatoes and a 4 stack. I’ve been stuck at 1900 for about a week. No amount of being a good player makes up for a bad team, you can’t solo carry 3 randos against a 4 stack unless the other team is especially bad.

I've been seeing a lot of solo players who are trash getting this gun according to this post. What the hell kind of lobbies are you getting it?? All of my games have been against teams of 3 and 4? I always get stuck with the potato teams though.

3 Replies2100 points is extremely easy... you could literally just farm those points in the lower ranks quickly by intentionally throwing games for easy matches. A better solution would be you don't lose anything when you lose but you also don't gain anything.. you only gain points for wins. It would still be a grind for some but a bit more obtainable. It would also get more people to grind out not forgotten.

4 RepliesOr why not make Rumble be part of the competitive and you get points on how well you do. 1st place 30, 2nd 25, 3rd 20 ect. That way you don’t have to depend on people to complete the quest. No afk people affecting you at all. Redrix Broadsword was a better Quest because every match made you feel like you are progressing towards it. Whether that be a kill or a match completed you didn’t feel like you just wasted an hour or two of your life. Luna’s Quest feels like a chore and not fun sat all. It’s a game and it should be fun. Everyone should be able to get it on their own terms and at their own pace without other people ruining the experience.

Just change the quest so that only glory points accumulate while solo in comp.

58 RepliesBetter off just eliminating loss penalty entirely by that point. Never win, never get it try hard enough, you do get it. We're creating toxicity by allowing useless suffering in high-end PvP modes and that's why so many people hate it to begin with.

1 ReplyNo...just no. That's not a fix that's just making it easier for those who are unwilling to grind. I dont have it but have put my time in and am at 1800. I want the best gear to be something that takes time and a lot of skill to obtain not making things easier.

The only fix I would include is letting people do the other quest requirements in Quickplay. It would help with the problem people are having playing people who already got Luna's and the fact that some people don't care about winning as long as they are getting their other requirements done.

It’s interesting how the Luna quest is a guaranteed drop from a crucible quest, but we can’t get endgame nightfall loot to drop from a certain score threshold. Putting the best curated gear behind PvP and not making it an RNG drop like everything else. I think people would rather chase something they know they will get if they hit a certain GR, rather than farm activities countlessly for the chance that something might drop, regardless of score.

5 RepliesI got the lunas howl on an 8- win streak while solo queueing. I don't know if I just got lucky as hell or if there is some sort of mechanic that I don't know about. The round after I got lunas howl I was absolutely destoryed.

9 RepliesNot Forgotten is about how hard the Claymore was last season. I see Luna's howl all over the place in Crucible, I only ran into a claymore user once in a blue moon. The thing is, I solo'd Luna's 100% and I'm about average if not slightly above. It WAS doable solo before everyone had the gun. Now that people see how powerful it is, it's no longer a walk in the park for this weapon. There are a lot of teams going after it. And everyone complaining about it's difficulty in the lower brackets? Just wait till you get to 2200. It's entirely a different animal. It's brutal. I've been stuck at 2400 glory for weeks. I can't progress past it solo. I'll win a game. Lose two. Win a game. Lose a game. There's simply no progressing after 2100 without a team. Luna's is attainable solo if you can carry 3 people. Not Forgotten is reserved for fireteams. Anyone want to go for Not Forgotten with me????? PS4
