1k Voices drop rate is bullsh*t
12 clears. Spent single keys, spent multiple keys. Nothing. This is not a rewarding system. Mythoclast and Crux were not a rewarding system (we just didn't know any better one until ToM and Outbreak Prime).
I love playing the raid because it's a fun experience, but it gets undermined every time because haven't seen jack for loot. Top tier raid loot should be EARNED. How is 12 clears not enough??? We've seen it work with ToM and Outbreak.
Suggestion: the number of chests containing the Voices should equal the number of keys already spent.

Gun should remain rare. Maybe become even more rare. Making it easier to get would dilute its value. And it would turn PvE into a joke, PvP into a bad joke and Gambit into sheer hysteria. Look back at the Vex Mythoclast and how it suffered. It got nerfed because more and more people had access and thus ruined PvP. If the Vex Mythoclast had remained an extremely rare oddity it would have achieved a notoriously fabled status and running into it would have been bad luck but nothing forever game tilting. Prevent the 1kV and D2 from falling to the same fate. Availability can be used for balancing too.

3 Repliesi completed the raid 3 times.. i didnt try to complete it till i hit 600 which was 2 weeks ago and on my first completion i got the 1000 voices.. the drop rate is fine to me .. i have see dozens of people with it already so the drop rate can not be that low

Pretty sure I took 500-700 game hours to get gjallarhorn and crux took probably over 100 clears to get. Not a fan of random exotic raid drops. Some people clear raid once for experience and never again if at all. Raid exotics should be tied to a quest you get for completing raid first time.

Its an extremely rare drop. Like all exotics that are not quest driven. Extremely rare, that's like err you know, not very often, err maybe more than 12 which aint so fecking rare!

3 RepliesNo it shouldn’t be earned!! It’s a random drop, I got lucky and got it on my 2nd clear, personally I’m glad it’s not a quest item. You’ll get it sooner or later, that’s the way the raid exotic has always been.

1 ReplyWhy are you comparing ToM and Outbreak to 1k? Both of those had quests tied to them. Thats what makes it different. Having something thats rare from the raid is what keeps you going back. I'll let you know now, once you get it and youre 600, theres no reason to do the raid anymore and theres not going to be a prestige version soooo yea. Fact is, its meant to feel like how you did when you got Mytho, not the others. Its that something special. People love that stuff. I mean heck, I still have my Supremacy on D1 from the very first Queens Qrath event that was only a week. Was it good? Not really, but because it is sooo rare, I treasured it more than a lot of things.

When I did vog it took a long time to get the Mythoclast and what I got out of vog is experience, what I'm trying to saying is be patience it might take you even more attempts to get the thousand voices, but you will get it, I sure did't get the Mythoclast the first time doing vog and I didn't get thousand voices on my first try either, and I try not to expect it but it will drop sooner or later, but the experience in doing the raid is more important than a weapon and people will disagree with me on that, and you will probably disagree with me also, you will get it just be patience.

1 ReplyWhat I don’t like about it is that it always goes to the person with the fewest completions. I’ve been in the chest room 13 times and I have more chests opened than that because there were a couple times I just killed riven and went to use all three keys on one character. So I’ve probably opened about 17-20 chests. Every raid I’ve been in someone else has gotten it. And in most scenarios it’s someone with 1 other completion. I had someone join on the heart with the wish wall key who never killed riven get it.

2 RepliesI know some people went 30 clears with no mythoclast, and that almost seemed like the norm. Got mine on my third try, lucky me. Wouldn’t call it rewarding, just RnG.

15 RepliesIt should be rare, all raid exotics should be, being a game asked on RNG you may never get it, it's just how it works. Ive seen poeple beat crota 200 times and never got a crux.

1 ReplyDrop rate is fine; I’ve seen plenty of people get it after there first run, and I have friends with 15+ clears without it. Personally, it took me 12 tries. It’s RNG based my dude. Your luck is just worse than others. It sucks, I know: I’ve carried several friends and clan members through only to see them get it after doing basically nothing the whole raid. If it makes you feel better, until they fix the frame rate bug, it still can’t compete with whisper and sleeper in most fights. Right now it does like half the damage it does on PC.

5 RepliesYou think that's bad? 12 keys. On my first clear 2 chests opened. Nothing. On my 7th clear 5 chests opened. No 1k voices. On my 14th clear 5 more chests opened and nothing.

Finished 4 clears without a single exotic drop throughout all 4, never mind 1000 Voices. A dude I play with has 7 clears (barely plays now as he's on to other games), and has pulled it twice.
