Clarificaton about dreaming city ghost, sparrow and ship droprates
Currently im tying to farm the dreaming city ghost, sparrow and ship and would like some clarification about the droprates and sources of said items. The collection says that those things can drop from dreaming city activities but does that mean that i can just grind the blind well or have i only once a week one chance for each activity(blind well, ascendent challenge/chest)?

2 RepliesYou really need the glittering key from the raid to open a special chest. I was able to get the sparrow from one of the raid encounters and it wasn’t Riven. I have 14 chests opened without a glittering key so good -blam!-ing luck.

They drop from anything, but the have the highest drops from sources someone else has already named.

Edited by NYC_InfamousNick: 10/27/2018 7:51:12 PMThis is according to an unverified source that I saw on YouTube that ran some testing on this, but the Sparrow has the highest chance to drop from the weekly dreaming city story missions you get from Petra, the Ghost has the highest chance to drop from weekly ascendant challenges, and the Ship has the highest chance to drop from Shattered Throne encounters, specifically Vorgeth and Dul Incaru. But otherwise every one of the items mentioned can drop from any activity in the dreaming city. I got my shell from a tier 4 blind well if I remember correctly, and the sparrow from Petra's milestone after completing 2 weekly bounties.

4 RepliesBe nice if we can just farm the blind well over and over just to get the ship, ghost, and sparrow rather than them just being tied to a random chance from doing the bounty for blind well and heroic version.

1 ReplyYou can farm the oracle offering chest for them. When you acquire the offering, hold on to it until after weekly reset, then go turn it in. Once chest spawns, fast travel back to Divalian Mists and repeat. It'll keep spawning.

Edited by D-lyfe: 10/26/2018 6:47:10 AMI saw a YouTube video on this today an the redit community had figured out you had a higher chance to get the 3 drops from the weekly story mission, the weekly ascendent challenge an shattered throne, each one of those activities has a higher drop chance for one of the items.

2 RepliesI was working on those as well for the seal trophy but gave up on them. Supposedly they only drop from ascendant challenges and the scattered throne dungeon bosses. Did all of those since release but havn't gotten shit yet. I'm working on the destination seal now and hope those damn braytech weapons have better rng

Can’t remember where I got the ghost, I got it the first week but I just got the sparrow yesterday from the weekly petra mission and I got the ship(I think it’s the ship anyway)from the shattered throne.
