Community thoughts on Lunas/NF
Why do people want it nerfed? Lunas is bad at range. As for not forgotten, have you heard of the Duke Mk44 or Ace of spades or a trust with explosive payload? Should a weapon not be rewarding a skilled hand? What do you want to happen when a person lands 3 crits? They blow up and get error code weaseled or something? Is that balanced enough for you?

9 Repliesi find more issue that the best guns are in comp rather than the raid or something there should be multiple options for multiple playstyles not this one game mode will have the best gun hands down each season either that or make them exotic they have unique perks like an exotic so they should take up an exotic slot like one

1 ReplyMP should not have 3 exclusive weapons at all . I was cool with the Broadsword being a MP only weapon . Oh hell no MP has 3 of the best guns in the game even though Bungie lied and said there was only 2 . Luna's howl unlocks the 3rd weapon quest for the Not Forgotten and that is flat out unfair

The grind for Luna and then NF is Bungie’s thank-you to the player for persevering through the broken excuse that is Destiny PVP. Those/Most that have it deserve it. Most won’t bother with the PVP In this game so should rightly expect to get owned by players who have these guns. They are powerful there’s no denying it. The should be powerful based on what was required of the player to get them.

My telesto will be out a luna’s at any range. People can use it if they want :P

Luna's Howl is a major grind to get. It [b]should[/b] be exceptionally powerful.

The weapon honestly isnt a big issue compared to telesto, wardcliff coil meta. Sometimes I been on matches were not a single person uses primary at all.

Most of the time you’ll see these weapons in comp, which is a separate issue. I like how Luna is good for Medium range and NF is good for longer ranges.

I think people just want balance. Hard to have balance if top tier guns are only had by a very small % of player base. In the past, they had knockoff versions you could earn else where. Doctrine of passing adept. Doctrine of passing. Soulstealers claw Flawless. Trials Bounties. Poe. Adept was the best, but the others were good enough. Right now, that isnt there.

3 RepliesThe only people who complain about it are people who aren't skilled enough to obtain it. I don't mean to be rude, but it's accurate. On my journey to Luna's, I fought many opponents who used it while, obviously, I didn't have it at the time. You know what I did? I used weapons and tactics that countered Luna's and did just fine.
