I really appreciate that they added an extra tier of rarity to make getting new armor all the more exciting, but it seems to me that if you arent rolling 5 pieces of Reverie Dawn gear with enhanced on each, then you are purposefully handicapping yourself and I dont like that at all.
I just got all this Iron Banner armor that I like alot but it is by default less effective than having the enhanced version of each perk on Reverie.
Do you guys have any thoughts on this, do you feel forced into using Reverie or do you just decide not to min max and ignore the enhanced stuff?
EDIT: I think some people are misunderstanding the post, I am NOT talking about Transcendent Blessing or Rivens Curse mods. I am talking about how only Reverie Dawn and the raid armor can roll with enhanced perks ('Enhanced Hand Cannon Dexterity' vs. the standard 'Hand Cannon Dexterity'). It feels as though using a piece of armor without it having an 'Enhanced' perk is a waste and a loss of either over all dps or super generation.

6 RepliesPersonally, I don't wear any other armor. I do like the way it looks though. With that said, are you aware that the enhanced damage is only useful in Dreaming City? There are some pretty good mods to be able to build other armor sets that would be better for different areas.

3 RepliesNo man...raid gear all the way. Revery dawn ifps just a reskin of season 1 eververse armor for hunter.
-
3 RepliesEnhanced rolls can drop on exotics and raid gear as well. Thankfully the warlock set actually looks good.
-
Because any raid armor looks may cooler.
-
no cause it looks like ass
-
7 RepliesNever really actually noticed. How much extra enhancement does ‘enhanced’ actually give you?
-
I feel other sets, maybe not all but some sets should be able to roll with enhanced or have some upgrade system so any armour piece can get enhanced
-
Once you have a full set subsequent duplicates can be used to infuse for glimmer only rather than mats and cores. Additionally you can infuse for your preferred perks(inspect my hunter all the armour is tailored to bows, linear fusions, heavy finder, kinetic aiming). And I know you said not for mods...but free mods with riven’s curse. The damage either way doesn’t bother me.

To look different 🤷🏻♂️

4 RepliesA. I think it looks ugly B. You deal more damage but you take more so you aren't really handicapping yourself by not using it.
-
2 RepliesAll legendaries can role with enhanced perks
-
I don't think I've ever had a piece of Reverie Dawn drop with an enhanced perk. I do still run it in the Dreaming City just because I have Transcendent Blessing on all the pieces and the perks they rolled actually fit well with the weapons I like to use, but it would sure be nice to get one of these enhanced perks I keep hearing about.
-
like loki, sex appeal. Just kidding for a different look
-
Exotics can have enhanced perks as well.
-
1 ReplyI understand what you're getting at but honestly I don't think it makes that huge of a difference. Mind you this is my opinion I don't have any data to back this up but I've got Enhanced Sniper Rifle Targeting on my helmet and it doesn't seem to make much of a difference with my Whisper (PC).

5 RepliesYou can put transcended blessing mods on all armor, not just reverie dawn armor.
-
2 RepliesI hate the stats the reverie dawn set gives
-
90% of the armour in Destiny has always looked garbage, who want's big bublbous things like the tangled shore set? If I were director of Destiny armour wouldn't look awful AT ALL
-
I have reverie, but I don't wear it. I don't know if that hinders me or not, but I am perfectly happy with my existing armor set.
-
It wouldn't be so bad if Budgie implemented a system where you could modify the existing skins to something you have previously found. For all of Diablo 3's faults that was something that was cool about that game.....you could with only a few restrictions make your character look however you want.
-
3 RepliesFrom what I’ve heard the enhanced perks provide very minimal increases and in some cases are worse than the regular versions on other armor
-
Mix and match. My warlock looks like a glowing god in game
-
I got enhanced sniper targeting on my raid helm, and enhanced ashes to assets on it too.

Yes, and that reason is someone might not like the static stats the armor comes with over other gear. My Titan doesn't look very good, but the rolls on my armor are what I mostly want, and the static stats are also what I want. I want high mobility with decent resilience, and I don't care about recovery at all. It's a shame armor stats aren't random, or at least changeable.
