Actually, it's not. Maybe to people like you, where you apparently think that a person should earn money, spend said money on a product, only to work a second job trying to enjoy and get the most out of said product. I don't buy a new car just to take it home and start fixing it so I can actually enjoy it. I don't buy a meal just so I can wash dishes before I actually enjoy it. The only exception to this that I've made throughout my 40 years of life is with Legos. I bought them knowing full well that I would have to assemble them. And guess what? None of those things have a hidden slot machine that determines whether I enjoy the product or not. So again, thank God this only for video games!
