Ok boyo. First off I'm a fantastic reader and have had a college reading level since the 3rd grade(you don't have to believe me and you probably wont due to your ego but oh well), secondly you must not understand what dictionaries do. They describe what words mean. Entitled is exactly what I put in the post. Whether you choose to believe it or not doesn't change that it's fact. Your ego is what's blinding you from seeing that your version of "entitled" is just "feedback". I honestly don't know why you're so against a slight bump in Exotic rates(like a middle ground between what it was last Season and now would be perfect because they're too sparse and one you do get one it's a duplicate[which has been addressed and is supposedly going to fix duplicates somehow. We'll see.]. But like I said, I won't leave Destiny just because I have all Exotics. That has never been a problem. The problem now is they drop like -blam!-ing water in the Sahara and that's not good when you grind for the Exotics and end up with basically -blam!--all at the end of almost 7 weeks(I got my first Forsaken drop yesterday and I've played since Forsaken release). It needs a fix, and you're entitled to your opinion, and yeah you can try to skew it as us acting "entitled" but it's straight up "FEEDBACK" and that's what the forums are for.

First, guaranteed you have not been reading at a college level since third grade. That’s about as useful as insisting you deserve a date because your mom says you’re handsome. Second, anyone with the English chops you claim would probably have figured out paragraphs by now. Third, I’m betting only one of us in the conversation actually has an M.A. in English. [spoiler]And it’s not you.[/spoiler] Finally, I told you how dictionaries work. They aren’t prescriptive. That’s why you find words like “irregardless”—not because there’s a correct way to use them, but because a dictionary’s function is to describe usage.

Base words like "entitled" have specific definitions because guess what? It's not derived from something, it's its own specific word. So it's safe to assume neither of us that has an M.A. in English otherwise you wouldn't be using "entitled" in the wrong instance. Like I said, the word you're looking for is "Feedback" but you fail to even try to acknowledge that. Also, yes I have been, but like I said your ego just won't let you agree with anything I say, even if it's based off fact(just because you couldn't doesn't mean others wouldn't be able to as well). And nah, terrible comparison. I took tests in school and earned that ability because I've always loved reading and language in general for the most part.(P.S. I don't like paragraphs unless I"m writing a book, you can just as easily read one paragraph as you can multiple. I'm not typing for your convenience I'm typing to get my point across but with you being as ignorant as what you're saying lets on then there's no changing your mind. No matter why you like Exotics dropping as shittily as they are.)

Wow. You’ve at least proven conclusively that you should quit trying to lecture people on how the language works. You’ve “taken tests?” What grade are you in, that you think that’s meaningful? You’re probably part of the generation that gets 5 or 6 hundred points or whatever for just signing the SAT. BTW, “I can’t be bothered,” is [i]the[/i] most abused excuse by people trying to hide their inability with the language. So you really should listen to the guy with the graduate degree in the subject. [i]Dictionaries aren’t prescriptive.[/i] And, like I said, only school kids quote dictionaries. Well, millennial college kids probably do, too, but that’s another discussion—no one with an actual clue about the language does.

The fact that you think that it's not proves my point. Simple. As. That. Here since you seem to forget the English language: Entitled: "believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment."(Sorry your slang version of entitled holds no true bearing here.") Feedback: "information about reactions to a product, a person's performance of a task, etc. which is used as a basis for improvement." Which Exotic drops/duplication is in need of improvement. Which is OP made this post. It needs improvement, hence is why hey posted in here so that Bungie devs can see, "hey this is still a problem? Good to know, we'll be working on it".

Like I said: quoting a dictionary as if it means anything is a grade school move, slick. If that’s all you’ve got, it’s clear you’ve never learned to think (or how logic works), and should just be quiet. Bitching may technically be “feedback” in the loosest sense, but it’s not useful, and thus pointless to call feedback.

Yet once again you display your poor reading comprehension. But even if the final paragraph were reasonable, it doesn’t negate the bitching, entitled tone of the rest. But the, “I paid money; I deserve the lootz!” is both Whitney [i]and[/i] entitled. Not feedback in any meaningful sense. It’s “feedback” the same way a toddler throwing a tantrum is “feedback.”

Definitions are there for a reason. Just because you use words incorrectly doesn't mean I'm wrong. I've tried helping by giving you the definition of the word you're using incorrectly, and giving you the WORD and DEFINITION of the word you're actually trying to describe yet you still choose to be ignorant. Stay ignorant, but when the Exotic drop rate is boosted, I'm coming back and rubbing in as to how wrong you are/were. Just because you for some reason seem to be ok with it doesn't mean it's in a good state.

And as for the "I can't be bothered", I think you confused with I don't give a -blam!- if you want it in paragraphs, I'm typing to get something across to you not write you a book on why Exotic drops rates and duplicates are absolute shite or as I more elegantly put it "I'm not typing for your convenience I'm typing to get my point across".

Yeah. The entire point of communication is to convey meaning to others. Guess what inhibits that? Not properly formatting or obeying basic rules of grammar. Seriously, who thinks paragraphs are only for books? Do you also think sentences are only for tests? Verbs are optional?
