Xur sold Gally WEEK 1. So your loss if you weren't an early adopter.
Also, Xur always had an assortment of golds so you could at least get a new one every week. If I could get 1 new forsaken exotic every week that would be fine, but to constantly get repeat Y1 exotics when they don't boost light level and don't break down into anything useful is just dumb. Might as well not even give it to me, makes no difference. All it does is remind me that I DIDN'T get a new exotic.

Exotics drop at powerful levels, so you can at least use it as infusion material if it is not a piece you plan to use.

Nope, last 2 pieces I got were at least 3 under my max for that slot. It might drop higher than my current light level, but that doesn't mean it is higher than that slot.

That's still a powerful drop. Drop levels are based on your overall power level, not slot level.

And it is still useless to me in that slot.

So you got unlucky on that one drop. Point is, Exotics are powerful drops again, unlike in Warmind when they dropped at soft-cap levels.

Im'a screen shot the next time I get a duplicate exotic and send it to you. The number of useless exotics has far outnumbered those that I could eat for the power level. If I get 1 more crown of tempests, im'a come rant about it on the forum. So...no change there. But im'a still be really mad about it. I think I am up to 4 now this season.

I got two exotics last night: Two-Tailed Fox and Crimson. Both dropped at 600. They are powerful drops now, regardless of whether they help the specific slot they drop in for you.

Ya, for veteran players, xur has become useless. And I doubt they have him sell new stuff until black armory launches.
