Does playing in a 4 stack make getting Luna easy?
With all the solo players saying that they constantly lose to 4 stacks and saying that some of their teammates leave mid match. 4 stack is probably the best thing to do. Solo players notice the team they are up against and one of them is probably going to leave.
Or am I just stupid for thinking that?

For others that do well in 4 stacks well they probably already had the gun skill. A common thing you see in solo is people overextending or being so impatient they run off an die in a survival match where the score is tied. That leads to everyone else making up for that guys stupid mistake then we get supered. With MM having a bunch of leavers it does make the game significantly more difficult. Besides helping some friends get their Luna's I think I'm more comfortable doing comp solo for the rest or if I find a good stack if Mythic gets too sweaty.

Most 4 stacks are shitty. I've only had 3 good ones. Out of those I've made a nice pool of friends to invite for it though :)

I beat many 4 stacks don’t get put off by 4stacks, when I did go in with a 4 stack we had a couple leave so was easy wins because they automatically think we’re god mode

I actually had a great run with it. Matchmaking is so uneven if you run stacked you will get mostly solo players for some reason. Easy win for the most part. Finishing up my other quest steps and only running team.

I solo'd a good bit of my Luna quest (the rest were randoms that invited me to join after matching against/with them). I had some people I could play with... but... lol, I didn't trust them at all. -- You do have a good edge though. Just the fact you can all talk to each other can win a game. Although... that can be a vice in itself depending on who you have.

Doesn’t guarantee a win. But if you’re in a team you can prey on solos by exiting mm when you see another stack. It’s a scummy tactic but even ransoms can destroy a stack. But this tactic helps those less skilled

No. Playing in a 4 stack will not guarantee you the win. What will is if you communicate, synergise and support each other.

Makes it much easier if you are capable of competing at that level in comparison to matching with a bunch of solos against a team

I rarely lose to 4stacks in comp, but probably just my experience.

Surprisingly most of the time at least in my experience most 4 stacks actually weren't that good only 25-35% of the teams I've faced were in like the 2200-2800 mark all with Luna's those guys were a pain to deal with. As for team mates leaving that's real but doesn't happen too often , but when it does it screws the whole team over really bad wish there was a bigger penalty for leaving games consistently.

That being said if you’re gonna 4 stack then you need a 4 stack that works well together. The team needs to actually be communicating. You’d be surprised at how many teams you join a team and people are just talking about how they hate dying to a certain thing or just constantly swearing. That’s talking not communicating. If you find a team you play really well with, add them and keep playing with that team.

No, you’re right. Solo players get handicapped and screwed. You’ll gain a huge advantage by being social and grouping up for anything you try to do that is pvp related or whatever is supposedly competitive.

After hovering around 1100-1300 I bit the bullet and found a couple guys with the same K/D as me and we went on a 12 win streak and then someone left. Did this with no mics either. I noticed that I was losing most of my matches because teammates either leave or they are potatoes with a K/D of 0.2 and seem to feed intentionally, playing with three others with similar K/D nullify both problems and winning in near guaranteed. If your playing against solos they have the same exact problems you generally had and you actually stand a chance against 4 stacks.

It depends on your 4 stack. If you all are competent [i]team players[/i] then it’ll be really easy. If you have 4 good players, but they don’t know how to play together, then you’ll have a rough time.

I just finished my Luna’s today, solo. I tried playing in a stack a few times and was losing every game almost.

If you can communicate with your team of course you have an advantage. Solo play is fine, but don't expect to consistently go on long winning streaks unless you're lucky and run into PvE clans just trying to get bounties done.

I got mine purely solo. Youre bound to go up a 4-stack here and there. Sometimes you beat them (given that they are highly uncoordinated and pretty bad) and sometime you wont. But soloing to Fable and obtaining Luna's Howl is doable, just time consuming. Took me a full week.

You'll get it quicker for sure but I wouldn't say it makes it that much easier. Most of the people saying they can't get it solo would still be having a rough time in a full team.
