Badlander with a GOOD roll or EP shotgun?
So badlander (shotgun) dropped for me and its full auto just like the ep shotgun but it auto reloads as well so i can switch to my primary or heavy and keep doing dps and then switch back to badlander and its fully reloaded, now the thing is everyone praises the ep shotgun and im kinda lost to which one to run, any thoughts?
Edit: after i put this up, i got the ep shotgun and lemme tell you that the badlander aint shit lol

Idc what the roll is on Bad. For pve, it doesn’t have Trench Barrel so it will never be even close to Ikelos.

A masterworked god roll badlander still is not better than ikelos

Badlander is pretty damn good with the right roll-I tend to find it the third best shotgun behind the Ikelos and Perfect Paradox, or maybe fourth if you throw in Hawthorne's-but it's Trench Barrel that makes the EP shotgun so godly, not that it's full auto. Trench Barrel is so OP I can't believe it hasn't been nerfed yet.

It’s not full auto that makes EP so great. It’s the perk trench barrel that makes it great. Accompany that with full auto, now it’s the best DPS shotgun in the game. Your shotgun will serve you well until you get an EP. Even with auto loading holster that your SG has, EP will do the damage of 3 shots to your two shots, and can kill a yellow bar enemy while your waiting for a reload.

Considering there are several abilities that keep you from having to reload at all for a DPS phase, and most enemies are dead by the time you run out, EP Shotty is still way better.

The EP shotty is better but if uour like me and cant seem to get the EP shotty the badlander is the next best thing.

The Ep shotgun is arguably the best weapon in the game. The badlander is not in the conversation.

I don’t have the EP shotty but I have a badlander with full auto trigger system and slideshot and it’s been working just fine for me in pve and pvp.
