Does Jorge know Master Chief?

If you read the books, Jorge was actually apart of John's (#117, Master Chief)squad. There were two teams on Reach before and during this game. John was in one, and while The Pillar Of Autumn was in orbit around Reach, he was placed in cryo-sleep. That's how he got there in the first game..

I don't see why not. There was only one class of Spartan II's wasn't there? I'm fuzzy on the details, I read the books years ago.
