If it locks on and goes right by the -blam!-ing target

I just normally fire straight into the back of the -blam!- Hunter (on my team) that is triple jumping all over the place. The only kills I get with rockets are on myself!
-
I've had times where I fire the rocket and they BARELY move to the side and it just straight up CURVES around them. Tracking is basically a useless perk now in PvP imo.

What’s the point in anything working? If something is effective it will get overused in pvp, people will cry actual tears, and Bungie will nerf it and the entire ammo economy. No fun must be had in this game. If you die by something you don’t use, then by god you get on these forums and complain about it! In short, they remember Truth rocket launcher in D1, and saved themselves the trouble of going through the constant bitching that would lead to a nerf anyway.

6 RepliesHow many people remember Truth's tracking? Get a lock, fire at target who ducks down and runs into a building only for the rocket to follow and you get to hear "Two for One!"
-
Lower the velocity as it gives the rocket more time to curve. Crucible it’s different but pve, try it. Rockets curve more when they are not going as fast.

You should always SHOOT DOWN at a target with tracking, so you'll never loop around them, you'll just hit the ground close to them. You'd never shoot a rocket straight at someone without tracking, why would you do it with tracking? If you want a click-n-forget, use Colony...

6 RepliesThe tracking in D2 does suck but what's more annoying is if you jump to try to shoot over a rock it won't fire off a rocket. Never had that issue in D1 and it happens way too many times in D2.

1 ReplyIf proxy det was still a thing, I wouldn’t mind as much. For me, machine guns can’t come soon enough

It's extremely bad ay

I finally got a tracking-clusterbomb to drop on a Bad Omens. I thought it might not be as powerful as the Hunger of Crota but better than no tracking. Tracking doesn't track. Infuse Curtain Call.

5 RepliesI'm just hoping to get the Truth back. Man that rocket was fun!

I find lowering the velocity as much as possible helps. Instead of zipping right by enemies, it actually has time to curve.

That's how tracking has always worked. Only reason it was good in destiny one was grenade and horseshoes
