Request to make Solstice armor Year 2 available
Can they be added to the loot pool? It's a shame that they look so cool but are no value to us anymore! Does anyone agree?

1 ReplyI think a lot of you guys are missing what’s going on here. Most things from year 1 will come forward. But they will slightly rework the look or function and then make you reacquire it through an event or a future dlc. First example, they basically just did it with origin story. Slightly changed it and then added it to an event. I just saw that the year 1 PlayStation exclusive armor set has a different look now and will be added to something coming up as well. I think a lot will come forward, but you’ll be earning it again. It’s lazy, but it is what it is.

1 ReplyI would say any destiny 2 end game gear should be brought up. This includes EP, Leviathan, Eater of Worlds, Spire of Stars, etc. I just want all the time used to acquire such things (especially EP) to have not been wasted, and most of the armor looks fairly good.

1 ReplyIt’s amazing they placed all that time and effort and advertisement then promptly made it obsolete. Whoever thought that was a good idea just needs to have their head examined.

1 ReplyNote that some armor sets do not have a source to acquire them anymore like the Solstice Armor. They would be upgraded to year 2 with rolls but they will have a static roll as displayed when reacquiring them from Collections. Year 1 Eververse armor sets would also fall into this category along with any set that cannot be obtained in the current year.

ALL Year 1 armor should have a Year 2 version. aside from the Prodigal Set and Reverie Dawn Set. the forsaken armor sets just look like Ass. they are not aesthetically pleasing but some of the armor from Year 1 was just phenomenal. my Titans look for example is really good. and i would love to have Year 2 Random roll versions of them. even have them be acquired from there respective locations.

1 ReplyIf you grinded for it then it would have been valuable. I did it in half the time they gave us playing an hour a day. I know some people don't even have that much time to play but they did give an opportunity, it would just be unfair for everyone who spent literal hours on it.
