I understand why we used to have so much heavy ammo based on the old weapon system. But now that anybody can walk around with a shotgun or a sniper I think it breaks The Crucible game play. so much heavy on every match ruins the game for me. Once a decent team takes control over heavy. It becames a steamroll.
competitive goes from games of skill and team work to.
Control heavy and we win the game.

TO COUNTER NOVAWARP!!
-
NO Heavy in Comp. Fixed.
-
Make it like it was in D1 less often but more ammo
-
Grinding for the Not Forgotten literally gave me aids solely because of how frequent heavy ammo drops.

If that happens, the heavy campers will have nothing to do.

Edited by RingersCheckmate: 10/21/2018 9:29:45 PMI haven’t died to or seen heavy very often.
-
I agree: Increased heavy drops was originally a bandaid to address the "lower the ttk" crowd. But now we do have lower ttk, along with the ability to constantly have one-hit shotguns/snipers/fusions. Heavy does not need to drop as frequently as it does now.
-
I barely ever use my heavy because of my shotgun. Way better.
-
Totaly agree, heavy ammo are too much decisive.
-
Blows my mind how many people think this is a complaint about special weapons and how this has no upvotes. Sad community
-
It just needs to be like d1
-
Just wait till we get that thunderlord again ;)

I would be ok with one heavy spawn per match. I can deal with shotgun apes, I can deal with snipers( actually I salute you), I can deal with fusion rifles( this is a true skill I do not possess). I cannot deal with constant grenade and rocket spams. It just cheapens the whole experience in my opinion. But if the majority of the community is cool with it, I'll live. Let us not open nerfdora's box.

I wouldn't mind D1 heavy. Heavy in three minutes. Get there defend it or lose it. Now it's like WTH. Not even a minute in and I'm getting rocketed spawn then supered spawn then heavied again spawn then supered again. Like wtaf. No gun game?

This is so sad. Comp is fine when you don’t have people who go AFK or leave.

Edited by N7_Dredgen: 10/20/2018 6:29:09 PMSo Shotgunners and Snipers are not breaking crucible with their 1 hit kills they can use 100% of the time. But heavy ammo, which is on a timer and not useable 100% of the time, is the problem? There is no problem, it's nice that most weapons actually kill shit in less than 20 seconds now. You're the only tit asking to go back to watered downs hit gameplay. Just quit now.

You need something to combat all the dudes running telescope as a primary
-
It’s the worst in rumble
-
hell no so what learn to play
-
EIther remove heavy ammo from comp or make it work like D1. Also, make Telesto a heavy again.
-
Go away. Would you rather go back to only graviton lance. The system is fine as it is. Stop asking for nerfs. That’s how the game becomes unplayable.
-
It's barely there to begin with. Ya just need to adapt and improve. Is what I would say but that's not really helpful is it? Oh well.
-
I clicked on this honestly expecting it to be a /s post talking about how there’s never any heavy in PvE and gambit. I was unpleasantly surprised
-
Meanwhile in PVE it’s rarer than the Sasquatch. Now that I think about it, it’s just as hairy as one too
-
Odd thing is that I have shotguns and sniper rifles which use special ammo and go in primary and power weapon slots. I can start a match with a sweet IB sniper, shotgun and rocket launcher equipped at the same time.
