I haven’t made a lore post in a while so here we go. —————————————————— There are a few people who think that allying with the spider was a bad idea. There are people who claim that the fallen deserve no mercy and that they either leave the system or die fighting a losing battle. And there are people who think that the only way is to kill them all. I’m here to say that killing them isn’t helping the situation anymore than letting them live. The Skorn. A faction made up entirely of undead fallen bringing cause chaos and destruction to the reef. The fanatic said it himself. “Every Eliskini dead is another member of the Skorn army.” Think of the flashpoint not as a game mechanic but as a call to arms. The Spider calls for several guardians to return to the reef to eliminate a Skorn threat. The heroic adventures are a there because one of the barons was revived and we need to put it down once more. But Derpy! Only the fanatic has the power to revive them and he’s dead. This is true but as we saw with the hollowed lair strike he can revive himself. So now we run into the problem with the fact that the Skorn have a never ending army. Even if we stop killing fallen the army will grow. The fallen are currently at war with hive, cabal, vex, and now the Skorn. But at least we can slow it’s growth. :D
