Can we get a buff to hunter super health?

  • Post from a reply Normally rounds aren't a target minus slova bomb projectiles. Similar to taken cabal seekers. I see no need for an over shield for a one and done(as a hunter) and this should be split 4-1 with the specter blade and golden gun. GG is a super and should have some sort of shield buff, but nothing crazy especially seeing it takes 2-3 shots to kill other supers. And spectral blade while fast(but seems to have been slowed down in the last update) is incredibly weak, especially seeing that "invisibility" isn't quite so invisible. My other thought was the idea of unstable light where 2 supers in close proximity simply canceled each other out resulting in a +1 for both teams(or 3 in a lock down in control) ending both supers. Sacrifice one to save 4 to 6. See what kinda lashing I get for that.

      Every super in the game has the same health during its super/animation as every other super besides goldy. If you think supers have different health than others, grab a buddy and test it out in privates.

          • No one's gonna bring up worm husk? I'll beat you to it. Worm husk actually made hunters play they way hunters are suppose to. They have garbage resilience. So you want a few shots and run(ideally those shots are precision and matter but that's not how this game works apparently. People though it was over powered cause it made 1v1 against one harder. But not unfair. The crimson did the same thing for every class. Wormhusk and crimson would be the heavy hitting load for that, but it eliminates range and since there is no resilience, still easy to beat.

                  How about we get an ability like every other class that gives us health. Lets take a Titan for our example. Sentinel has a couple perks in its trees that give health on a kill in one form or another, Sunbreaker has one in a tree I can't remember if the arc subclass has one or not but I believe there is still an exotic to give it to them anyways. Now we have warlocks and I'll admit.... I like my 'lock a lot. BUT, from an unbiased view they have two subclasses with whole trees built around healing yourself or allies. So yeah can we balance that a little cause I really don't want to waste an exotic slot on wormhusk or crimson to heal on kill. I'm not bitching at any other class its great that they have those abilities but when an entire class doesn't have one? Seems a little off kilter. I've been talking with a buddy of mine and while he is a die hard warlock fan, he too notes that hunters don't have a whole lot of survivability other classes naturally have. In the first game hunters were strong.. almost to the point of it being stupid. I'm not asking for that back but giving two classes health regen and regain abilities for simply killing something one way or another then it gets a little unfair when all we have is a dodge that barely breaks aim assist. This goes both for PvP and PvE. As my 'Lock and Titan, I can run through things at 20 light levels lower than my Hunter can and I honestly do blame it on the health regen that comes from using those classes. Now will we see a change to the Hunter skill trees. No we probably won't. Why cause everyone is complaining that our supers... particularly the new ones, are finally too strong. Well lets look at what happens when a Hunter pops his goldy. Before the animation is finished I am dead. There is no extra armor during the animation and the armor you gain while in your super is so little is might as well be non-existent. Lets look at our new arcstaff. Yeah we can deflect things but that is pretty much it. It costs us energy to use and by the time we reach whoever is shooting at use it runs out. Its great for panic uses but that's it. The new void super is just something no one is using properly. Its a sit and observe super and you gotta plan your attack. The blade barrage I will admit is kinda broken in terms of damage done and armor gained while in the animation. I want someone to shoot me out of it but because its like D1 Fist of Havok and the Nova Bomb it needs the armor. Think about the uses before calling for nerfs. If anything everything need another buff cause I still don't feel as strong as I was back in D1. Edit #1: TLDR: no class needs nerf needs buff, hunters don't have skill that give health on kill like other classes. Also some spelling mistakes lol.

                        • No. Blade barrage is insane as it is, practically unkillable even using other supers unless you want to trade. Arcstriders are a pain in the ass and now they deflect everything and the Nightstalker is just R1 to win.
