Please help I'm at my Whit's End. My system is running:
Intel core i7 5930k
GTX 1080ti
16g ddr4
I have tried everything I can think of. Running as admin, running battle.net as admin. Running destiny 2 as admin. I raised the priority. Doesn't matter. Reinstalled the driver. Clean installed driver. Set everything to normal clocks. Still crashes. Underclock everything? Still nothing. Tried different windows/resolution/frame rate/ vsync.
Anti virus turned off too. It only happens with D2. Also no drivers are causing the crash. Everything I try has resulted inNothing changes.
The issue itself is that the game crashes my computer completely! It can happen anytime I play. Talk to someone, fly in to orbit, load a cut scene, open a menu. Just random! Please let me know if you have any idea of what else I can do to fix this. I'm desperate at this point.

3 RepliesI am having the same issue and have done everything as you with no resolution. I created a post over a month ago with no response from Bungie which is total crap. I moved from console to this and spent over $200 on this game. I see how much the dedicated player means to them.

Wanted to update you on my progress. I bought a 2080 today hoping the issue was GPU BIOS and nope the game still crashes with error: Faulting application name: destiny2.exe, version: 2891.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5baf0824 Faulting module name: destiny2.exe, version: 2891.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5baf0824... :D WTF?!?

9 RepliesHello, Are you receiving any crash reports? They'd be located in a file somewhere similar to program files/Destiny 2/temp/crash_folder/pc_x64/crash_folder (random numbers)/crash_info.txt.

3 RepliesAre you in the dreaming city when crashes occur? I've crashed two times both in dreaming city.

1 ReplyCheck my post above you. They stopped replying to these threads because they know the issue is in the game code. I have the same GPU, same amount of memory just a 1700X CPU... no fix for that bro...
