I think it sucks, I watched one of my teammate get zero kills with it and dies afterwards 😕

Will pvp please -blam!- off
-
It’s one of 5 supers in the game with the most damage resistance. It’s also not bad at killing other supers so you should definitely give it a try.
-
Ive had a few great moments with it but they are far and few between. Its right click was able to shut down nova warp partially because the dude was a potato
-
In every way absolutely.
-
Yes without question is probably one of the worst PvP supers in the game and its also fairly niche as a PvE super also. The spinning attack is garbage and there is no speed boost so you are never going to hit anyone. Its like running around as a Shield Titan without the ability to throw your shield.......you are screwed most of the time.
-
Is it me or does way of the wraith suck I watch a teammate pop it and trade with a shotgun at full health
-
nova warp unfortunately makes all other supers look weak it one shots everything and takes the most damage to kill i cant count the times on my hunter or titan ive even had the jump on them hit them several times and they still kill me in one shot while they survive or takes three shots or more and we both die the other classes need to have their supers buffed to come ip to this level so they actually feel like supers ive also had the new titan super drain off ridiculously fast in pvp like three smashes for no reason while other times in pve it lasts through like 15 smashes

I haven't noticed this at all really, it's got good aerial movement and aoe in its spin to win attack and I kill quite of few supers with the slam down, maybe I don't play Titan enough to notice the chinks in it's armor but it seems fairly consistent, the throwing hammer imo as someone who has more hunter playtime than hunter feels like a more consistently damaged throwing knife with a more generous hitbox. The entire subclass feels neatly packaged and focused on the throwing hammer rewarding players for landing hits with it with a alright super if not a little worse version of the normal sun breaker. If someone could please inform me what's so wrong with this subclass as I play my warlock and hunter more than Titan and don't know.

I got killed in midair around the wall with the tornado yesterday rip

Not every super is good for PVP, Burning Maul is one of them. Please tell your friend to adapt instead of being a handicap to your team.
-
Burning Maul seems fine in PvP. Seems weak in PvE though.
-
Yup the Titan class as a whole could use a PvP buff. This specifically needs a buff. I feel like so many other supers have OHK or at least some utility. The hammer is just slow and weak and easy to avoid. Maybe just buff it’s damage in the crucible and call it a day?
-
I’m really bad at PvP, usually only jump in quickplay for my challenges. I’ve been a defender/sentinel Titan since I hit lvl 15 in D1, never was a fan of Hammers and I’ll get the striker urge here and there, anyway.. that said, I unlocked the code of the devastator and went into quickplay.. got a nice little 5 piece the first time I ever used the maul... Lol! 100% dumb luck, but still...
-
This is what I run PvP: missle PvE: Commander Blind Well: Maul
-
Seems pretty bad, all the games Ive played so far and a titan has popped his maul, not one has killed me, im pretty sure
-
Super slow.
-
defender for the win
-
Still better than spectral blades or shadowshot
-
Burning maul is the shittiest tree in the game. Remove the throwing hammer (which it gets lost quite a lot) and the class is useless in almost every scenario.
-
Yea its pretty underwhelming. Only things going for it is the damage resistance and the duration, interestingly enough this super has the best damage resistance out of any mobile super and the duration is on the higher side. but i guess all of that is useless when there isn't any lethality,
-
Personally, i believe that burning maul is only good when used correctly at specific times in pvp (such as getting the drop on someone or bunched up crowds(within reason)). Even today i discovered a way to counter it effectively was to stand on a big rock, too which the user didn't even get a single kill and die afterwards
-
It is! When I hear it go off I go towards the sound. However; killing scrubs with the mini hammer has to be the most satisfying thing in the game!!!
-
Last week I watched a titan toss it’s mini hammer at a afk player, it barely hurt the afker. Rather funny to watch
-
It doesn't seem to have a gap closer.
-
That's because it's not intended for PvP.
-
I think the burning maul in the right hands is decent in crucible. That stupid solar scorch trail goes pretty far. Do that in any hallway with enemy guardians and their dead. I’ve seen it struggle in maps that are open, but any closed in map with ceilings...it does okay. Hammers still scare me way more though
