Anyone member how there’s a #Destiny 2 and #Feedback subforum? Cause this guy doesn’t seem to remember
-
Yeah, whenever I'm winning it seems pretty balanced.
-
Aside from oddjob, goldeneye 64 was very balanced
-
The beauty of death match (as we called it back then) was that everyone started with the same weapons. Now the best players have the best weapons and my time spent in PvP is minimal.
-
I wasn't a member, I was a player when it happened.
-
Sure, it was Destiny 2 at launch. Everyone hated it!!! Balance is boring. Besides, most of these calls for "balance" is really just players wanting an advantage.

2 RepliesIt’s actually better to have slightly imbalanced pvp than it is to have it perfectly balanced. If pvp was perfectly balanced, then certain strategies would simply always be best, and high level play would get rather stale. With slight imbalances, the game stays fresh & varied.

2 RepliesHalo has always been balanced and still is to this day so I remember it pretty well. And before someone brings it up, no Warzone doesn’t count because it wasn’t meant to be competitive. From it’s inception it was advertised as a social sandbox to use OP weapon and vehicle variants.
-
3 RepliesTitanfall 2 is pretty balanced, even though the game is almost dead. Hemlok got nerfed, titans are fair
-
Remember when Suros Regime was the most powerful weapon?
-
Halo 3 was awesome, yeah bungie has fallen.

2 RepliesEdited by LittleLight: 10/16/2018 3:00:23 PMI also member when people posted in the correct subforums.
unless you're talking about PvP In general.
Edited by epicperon: 10/16/2018 4:38:24 AMYa know, I actually can’t think of any balanced pvp. Not even pokemon’s was ever balanced. Even in gen 1 mewtwo and zapdos existed. In every pvp game, there will always be a meta that’s better than everything else I guess
-
I do.

Balance is an opinion. One could make the argument that there has never been an imbalanced game. There are more and less effective ways to play. That is intended. Therefore, if your opponent has an ad advantage, that's your fault for not using the superior gear.

In Street Fighter II, I'd say the element of player vs. player is extremely balanced. Even though there's ways of cheesing an advantage over other players, the game is still a blast to play against someone to this day. Other competitively balanced games out there off the top of my head would include: Super Mario Kart NBA Jam: Tournament Edition Mortal Kombat II Virtua Fighter 2 Tekken 2 Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour Spy vs. Spy Tetris 2 StarCraft Warhawk Guitar Hero II Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 Twisted Metal 2 Jet Moto 2 Dr. Mario Peggle X-Men: Children of the Atom Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
