I have been kicked from comp games due to:
1) Bungies piss poor servers (my internet did not shut down or anything)
2) People who ddos (yes, it is still a thing)
3) Bungies piss poor servers (did i mention that already?)
Yeah, most if not all the time ive been disconnected is due to things out of my control. Till these things are sorted out, a 12 hour ban is just stupid. In less than half a day, more than half of the pvp community would be benched for 12 hours and you would instead start matching people across the globe and then people like you would come here and complain about matching people in other continents.
Plus, ive found a lot of the times the "quitters" of comp. dont leave on purpose, they get kicked.

I don't know what to tell you man. I've been playing since launch and I've only been disconnected a handful of times. Bungie pvp runs on p2p so it doesn't make sense to blame their servers. Maybe you should contact your isp because you're hurting your team

There connections arent purely p2p. Its a hybrid system they use over. I dont know the exact details but they have talked about it before. And i usually play with a group in party chat and everytime ive been kicked from a match, i would remain in the party and still be able to talk with them, so clearly it wasnt my ps4 or my internet, it was purely the game.

I don't know. All I do know is I'm sick and tired of playing competitive a man down. A system should be set in place where you don't lose glory if a person outside of your fireteam quits because this is beyond ridiculous.

I agree completely with that. I just didnt agree with the solution you proposed. But for sure something needs to be done when you are a man a down or you get kicked and it was out your control.
