Why do hunters have the worst neutral game of any class?
I feel like we were supposed to have the strongest neutral game but we don’t. At least on gunslinger I thought we were supposed to have decent neutral game but it’s the worst of even the hunter subclasses. Wtf?

Is it against some unwritten rule that Titans or Warlocks can't have strong neutral game skill trees as well? That said, Way of the Wind is definitely one of the best, if not the best, neutral game subclass in the game. Aside from the Lightning Reflexes being buffed with greater damage resistance, it has been untouched in updates which goes to show that Bungie actually got this subclass design right. And if melee pve builds is your thing, Way of the Warrior offers the perfect infinite melee chain.

6 RepliesAs a long time Solar Hunter. I fill you are not playing you golden gun or blade Barrage right. Synergy with this tree is amazing and also running the right exotics will help out as well. -Cayos-

1 ReplyUh huh. Tether that is a fountain of light orbs and weakens bosses like no tomorrow. GG that is a DPS monster. Blade barrage that can wipe 3 different mobs at once or like GG deal massive damage. Arc staff that can like blade barrage wipe 3 different mobs and way of the current is like sentinel shield but better cause it can reflect enemies fire back at them. So jump right in front of a giant mob of Vex Goblins and twirl you strip pole around and reflect all the laser beams back at them.
