even if you can't reroll them it would be better than having nothing...

Transomg. Transmog is the best solution. Like that mobility set, but want the stats of a restorative or heavy without having to play mix and match hobo guardian. There, problem solved.

Edited by TheOldExplorer: 10/17/2018 11:37:17 AMI suggest a balanced system. So, we have year 2 gear with a lot of perks. This armor is really good. And with mods it becomes much better. Bungie finally have found a middle ground between d2 and d1 armor features. Y1 armor doesn't have perks, but accepts y2 mods. So, I suggest: 1. Y1 armor gain an additional mod slot. 2. Y1 armor masterwork price is reduced (2 cores for MW, 1 core for reroll). To limit overpowerness, Bungie can limit mod stack up to 5. So, one can sacrifice perks, but gain easy masterwork armor with 10 mod slots total. How's my idea?

i rather run around with year 1 iron banner base armor but cant if i actually want ammo to drop

2 RepliesThe good thing is that seriously all of the year 2 armor chest pieces have awful perks, so you can run a year 1 chest if you really wanted...you're missing a unflinching perk that doesn't work, and some primary ammo finder you don't need.

1 ReplyI already dismantle all my year 1 armor including the Solstice ones

Or if not, make the old armor ornaments work for a particular set of gear. Make crucible ornaments change the crucible gear, Iron Banner changes Iron Banner etc.

Yeah, especially on the PS exculsive stuff. It's kinda a bummer that Xbox players finally get the cool looking PS exclusive armor sets only after they've become obsolete.
