PvP meta and how's it awful

The Crucible is awful right now shotguns are everywhere pulse rifles are still meta and certain hand cannons are just over used. I can name about 4 weapons that need a need soon because people that have no skill use these weapons. Bygones needs a nerf it's overused and im sick and tired of seeing it over and over. 2nd Ace of Spades needs a nerf soon as well im sick and tired of seeing this weapons over and over. Trust hand cannon is annoying and needs a nerf. Shotguns also needs a nerf once Bungie announced that shotguns where going to be moved in the secondary slot I knew that they where going to be a huge problem. I love Destiny and love grinding the Crucible and I feel like these problems need to be solved before Bungie pulls a Rise of Iron and take away our special ammo again. I can't be the only one who feels this.

  • Bygone dont need a nerf, 390 RPM pulses are in a nice spot right now + they are the most forgiving archetype. If you want a good challenge of mastery, try 540 RPM Rapid Fire Frames. They have the second fastest TTK yet theyre the most unforgiving due to if missing one of the crit, your TTK increases tremendously. Ace of Spade dont need a nerf. AOS is an example of how an Exotic worthy of the "Exotic" title. You still gotta land your 3 crit for that optimal TTK. And even if you have Momento Mori active, its still a 3 tap all crit for any Guardian that is full health at 5+ Resilience. Trust is true its name. Its trusthworthy and reliable. Highly consistent out of all 180 RPM handcannons; therefore, it dont need a nerf. It requires 4 crit to down a full health guardian. Even so with 4 crit, it still has a TTK of exactly 1.0 second, meaning it has a higher ttk than most of D2 weapons. Shotguns. They can be annoying to deal with; however, they still require a degree of skill in order to be efficient. Sure you can ape with it, but closing that gap between you and another oppenent that is at your skill level or better than you takes some skill. Slugs on the other hand requires a precision shot in order to guarantee that 1 shot kill, not all of us are aim bots and aiming for the head can be hard sometime for others. Shotguns can still be counter by smart plays and especially sidearms. Sidearms + backpeddalling is the most effective way to shut down a shotty rusher. In a sense, shotguns does not need a nerf. Play smart, practice your aim, understand your engagement and you can outgun shotty rushers. We dont want a D1 2.0 where everything is nerf to the ground.
