Raid Elitism isn’t as bad as everyone thinks

To those saying the raid can be done with 560s. You’re not wrong. But you’ll most likely be at riven for several hours. 590 isn’t a lot to ask for, especially if you’re on at least 2 Days a week for milestones. And asking for experience is normal, and expected. If I’m trying to get a run done fast, I’m not going to teach it to somebody. But the sad truth is that there’s nobody on the lfgs asking for 590+ with 10 clears. People’s patience grows thin when people who don’t know what they are doing lie about it, so asking for clears only makes sense.

  • I just find it funny that the expectation is to know what to do when we haven't stepped foot into the raid. "Go watch youtube videos!" is a hilarious response. People don't want the enjoyment of figuring it out anymore? The struggle/problem solving IS part of the journey. Gamers these days are horrific. Can't figure it out for themselves, take the easy way out and watch someone who has done it already. What's the rush? I don't think the raid elitism is that bad. People are just getting lazy with video games now. The rush to get things done is asinine, and the argument that 'My time is important" is null and void when they spend 1000s of hours playing the same game.
