So with the incredible new truth to power lore, we learn lots of.... stuff.
What appears to have happened was that Eris left us a message, but was embarrassed by her emotions and created the false persona of Medusa. Quria then learns of this false persona and simulates her as what it thinks Medusa would be. We end up entering a linear-to-observer simulation made by Quria. Let’s call this the LTO. Inside the LTO, there are signs that something is off. The code used to make the LTO is darkness infused, but is still connected to the vex network as it has the vex data on Cayde and Master Rahool. The setting of the LTO is an altered last city. Both times you enter the LTO, most of the interactions take place in a hybrid tower that is half of the new tower and half of the old one. The first time, the view of the city shows that the traveler has been converted by the vex. All things in this version are a vex linear thought. For an unexplained reason, you feel more powerful in the vex version of the LTO than the hive one. The vex version introduces you to Medusa in person, although it’s not actually Medusa as Medusa isn’t real, it’s a simulation made by Quria. In the second time we enter the LTO, this is the hive influenced version where instead of a traveler, there is a black hole in the center of the city. Quria somehow meant to try and speak to us and left us hints that the Simulation was designed to confuse us. One of these hints was that Eris Morn played soccer with us, an impossible thing if Eris was Medusa. What we don’t know is why Quria wanted to contact us. Quria also simulated a hive verse and a copy of Dul Incaru that was basically the real thing. Incaru feels used by her mother and is afraid of betrayal that is sure to come. We also know that there is no massive plot with the dreaming city other than Savathun justs wants some awoken tech and wants to locate the awoken homeland to use it as a generator of infinite power. This is so complicated because savathun wants it to be, as said by Dul Incaru when she was talking to Paul the thrall.
That’s basically everything. Other things we learn are that the awoken are fully aware of the 3 week cycle, but are physically unable to stop it. The courier will always get broken, the ogres will always attack, and the monastery will never have the lights turned on. Guardians are unaffected by the cycle. We also learn everything about the life of Erisa, Eris morn before she was a guardian. We also learn about how being taken can amplify simulation powers. Eris morn is a good soccer player in the eyes of the vex, almost as good as a supercharged guardian.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE NOW KNOW THAT THE JIZZ BOIS KNOWN AS THE VEX HATE RAHOOL. I mean who wouldn’t. I found his inclusion quite humorous. He basically ruins the vex version of the LTO by decrypting Quria’s Medusa. Of course Rahool turns her into a token, a useless blue, and a note telling you to do an impossible task. Good job bungie.

I know i'm late but Bungie said that the highest power we can get will be 1000 being impossible but since our highest power level is 750 and Shadowkeep is coming out in September with a year three annual pass Shadowkeep will be putting us at 850 as our highest power level then the first annual pass DLC will bring us to 900 then the second will bring us to 950 and the last DLC of Destiny 2 will bring us to power level 1000 So its not an impossible task but for now it is.
