A Petion to Bring back SRL and Sparrow Horns.
Sparrow Racing was FUN.
Had decent looking gear.
And everyone can do it! No Matter the Power Level!
So Please Bungie [b][u][i]Put it back in PERMANENTLY![/i][/u][/b]
Sign and Bump people lets get it back in.
Also bring back Horns they were amusing.
Edit: Just got back on.
For those who hate it because this is suppose to be a fps. I just want a fun lil thing that at least has decent loot and does not need you to make lfg posts to get stuff.

2 RepliesThey could make it competitive though, like 3 vs 3 sparrow racing. First to cross the line = 6 points Second = 4 points Third = 2 points 4th till 6th = 0 points 3 rounds against eachother, or first to reach 20 points wins Possible loot: Blue engrams xD

Sparrow racing, yes. Sparrow horns, no. I played a lot of SRL while it was available in D1. I enjoyed everything about it except for the annoying players who honked the entire race.

4 RepliesPersonally, I think Bungo should have given us sparrow racing pvp instead of this lame ass gambit atrocity, FPS PVP isn't something I can do thanks to a service-connected anxiety issue, but, I could really get into some good spirited sparrow racing. If Bungo really wants to say they want to have something for everyone, then they'll bring in the races like crazy. Let all the pvp rewards be doable that way. save maybe iron banner and such... much as it pains me to say it, I don't mind a certain level of loot segregation when it's thematically fitting. But to just try and strong arm people into gameplay they're uncomfortable with is just poor game design... and in cases like mine, fairly dangerous.

1 ReplyFor the same reason that I don't want to see old raids being brought into D2, I don't want to see SRL come back. Why? Not because I didn't care for it - which I didn't, to be fair. It would require the dedication of resources to reviving and writing old, [i]not to mention very niche[/i] content into the game that could otherwise be directed on providing new, generally relevant content and fine tuning stuff recently implemented. I don't oppose it coming back, but if it does, I just hope the Bungie team manages to strike a good balance.

Yes please. My fireteam and I regularly hold impromptu races (Tree of Probabilities strike, *every* time) and while we all love shooting and looting, sparrow racing is and always will be a blast. Sounds like it's time for another players summit.

During the summit people asked if they had plans to bring back sparrow racing. They said that they have no plans to bring back sparrow racing, they thought it was a fun thing to do for the community at the time but not something they plan to spend time and resources on in Destiny 2. I personally like the state of the game and the direction the game is going, I would hate for something that is fun to a minority of players to take away from future progress. By the way I personally did enjoy sparrow racing but still think its just not needed and would be a waste of development time.
