Does Hunter feel kind of weak?
I feel like I'm always getting one shot by a Titan charge/melee or one shot by a warlock grenade or melee ability and then they have stuff to regen/buff those abilities, yet hunter slide charge only removes opponent shield, knives may one shot on headshot or if you hit all 3, and grenades that tickle the opponent and don't last 5 years like arc grenades from titan and warlock. Perhaps I'm exaggerating a bit but hunters still feel weak imo, any thoughts?

Don’t make bungie nerf titans and warlocks cause then they’ll get complaints and nerf hunters and buff titans and get more complaints and remove warlocks and nerf titans and make hunters op and get complaints and buff titans and add warlocks again and remove hunters and nerf the titans and get complaints and buff warlocks and.............

1 ReplyAs a hunter, I in no way feel weak, seeing as we have an extremely strong pve super (Blade barrage) an extremely good support super (tether) the optimal meme super (memestrider) And 6 shot golden gun for pvp. all of these are strong as hell for their respective uses.

Edited by Guardian8366: 10/10/2018 5:05:29 PMComparing to other class s yes we are weaker in overwall , at the moment the most op class (for pvp) is the titan why ? because it was the best toolkit (Masters of close range and with forsaken Master of mid range encounters) and the best exotics on game : One-Eyed Mask with the perk : Vengeance - Marks the enemy that dares to damage you. Track down and destroy your enemy for increased damage and overshield.Good. You know how in movies when someone is about to get beat up and they say, "You better kill me"? This helmet is the embodiment of that statement. If someone damages you in Crucible while you're wearing this helmet, they better kill you, because you will be able to see them, wherever they are on the map. What's more, if you can track them down, and kill them, you gain increased damage and an overshield. This means, if you win a one-on-one duel, you're about to become a veritable god. An Insurmountable Skullfort with the perk Transfusion Matrix - Kills with Arc melee abilities trigger health regeneration and restore melee energy. Theres no need for explanation here infinit shoulder charge. Ursa Furiosa with the perk Ursine Guard - Move faster while guarding when Sentinel Shield is active. Guarded damage converts to Super energy when the Super ends.This is currently one of the most powerful Titan Exotic armor pieces in the game. For every bit of damage blocked by the new Titan shield, you will be receiving a bit more Super back when the Super ends. Rinse and repeat. Almost literally infinite Supers. Heart of Inmost Light with the perk Overflowing Light - Using an ability (grenade, melee, or Barricade) empowers the other two abilities. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hit points. Sync this Exotic up with a Super and you'll have 1 hit kill grenades and melees for days, Toolkit : Movement ( if using titan skating (its not only on pc) macro ur unkillable if u want to run out of a figth at mach 4, plus if ur a shoty user , the if is missplaced sry , u also are a shotty rusher u can reach people before then can see the radar and shotty or 1 hit mellee then. Shield placement : is incredibly fast u can just wait for anyone if they are dumb to try kill u behind the shield, just wait for ur shotty ( grenades and supers theres no shield that will help u there ) If the a Hunter was any exotics like the titans plz enlighte me, if they can escape like the titan plz tell me , if u see a Pro Titan u must run ( use inv to get out of radar , if is not dumb enougth to see u ) till he makes a mistake and hope he dosent have a good aim ! Warlocks are actually nice in pvp with there new Sub class with 1 hit shotty grenades and with the super from Attunement of fission it was insane mobilaty and explosion range, sync this with blink jump and there u go deadly misture, Glad they got a class that could actually be competitive in pvp because they where crap before except for the super from dawnblade. So overwall at the moment Hunters are somewhat paired with Warlocks in PVP terms and titans being kings there , in terms of pve we are the weaker class yes !

It’s not weak, y’all just had the entirety of year 1 being straight up OP and now y’all are feeling the sting (it’s called balance, get used to it) weather it be Y1 arc-strider, worm-husk, or the verticality smg usage, those days are long gone. Besides y’all have the panic barrage that literally blows every other instant use super out of the water, nova bomb and blade barrage aren’t even on the same planet when it comes to ease of use, how unbelievably forgiving it is and it’s killing potential. Warlocks got nova warp which is essentially the Y1 arcstrider,( even though way of the wraith has the exact same duration)

23 RepliesNope, hunters are still just as good, it is just that other classes finally have abilities to allow them to catch up. So i guess you could say in the general overview they seem weaker, because the others got stronger. But they are most certainly not weaker than before, technically.

yes, hunters did get nerfed alot but we keep winning and there are still more hunters than any other class. we may not see improvements until that changes.
