in both d1 and d2 i love how the antics of players from chasing new guns to jumping of ledges and dancing is canon.

1 ReplyIn one of the Titan gambit armor sets, a Titan complains about how he misses his Vex Mythoclast.

3 RepliesDon’t forget the ghost shell where a scientist studies the guardians dancing constantly!! The lore goes something like this. She says that guardians, in their spare time, are not like the others. They don’t party or do anything like that. They dance, a LOT. They dance everywhere they go, and they seem to always dance AT someone else. Like it’s a language only they get. That cracked me up so much.

2 Replies"Reports have surfaced of the Guardians performing Aerial Acrobatics on their non-combative hover bikes" - Cabal Scout Master report, Skyburner Legion,

10 RepliesI had a chuckle the first time I heard Anna Bray say the following Rasputin recorded a substantial amount of Guardian traffic at some place on Earth called The Weep. The strange part is, not a lot of bullets were fired.

There's a destiny 1 card and it's from perspective of cabal watching guardians and noting odd behaviour.

Kamala Rior climbs onto a railing at the top of the Tower in the Last City. "Guardians of the Tower!" she calls out. A few look her way. One begins dancing at her feet. Others fool around with a purple ball.
Love this lore tab, perfect in so many ways.

for the thin line hand cannon lore tab your ghost tells you they love you
-
Garcia lore tab says do you leave crucible matches when your losing? Do you join a strike and let other do the work? Or something like that
-
“Guardians make their own fate.”

3 RepliesI remember a description where a guardian talked about Taken Psions and their annoying splitting, going so far as to have in all caps STOP SPLITTING repeatedly throughout their writing. Found that funny since I always found that to be the most annoying thing about those enemies.
-
I recall a line in destiny 1 along the lines of “Base jumping is not an acceptable use of your ghost.”
-
2 RepliesIsn't there a old piece of gear that talks about guardians just randomly dancing to no music in the tower?
-
3 RepliesYup. Byf made a video a while back about this and how bungie will integrate features for the players and tie them to the story. The crucible has a reason for existing in the lore. Competitive was added because of guardians like Redrix. We shove Atheon into a pit and we get a quest during the festival of the lost to wear an atheon mask and jump to our death.

5 RepliesThere is a blue Titan armor piece that mentions Guardians complaining about the Crucible. I cant remember the name of it at the moment.

1 Replyone of my favorite pieces of the new lore is Savin-who-was-Chao-mu

8 RepliesWhere does it say dancing/ jumping off ledges is cannon?

1 ReplyThere was a Hunter cloak in D1 I will forever cherish. "Melting Point" "In the Crucible, you'll find yours."
-
Darci lore talks about how guardians leave crucible matches and abandon teammates, or run past all the enemies.
-
1 ReplyCan’t remember which lore this came from, but there’s one out there that mocks Titan shoulder pads. Gotta love the sense of humor.
-
The Phoenix Protocol lore tab is the best example of this by far
-
12 RepliesI love the lore for the DFA. It’s literally Cabal reports of Guardians running past squads of Cabal and how it was lowering their moral. It’s awesome when our ingame antics become lore.
-
1 ReplyOne of the best was a D1 card. When the vanguard were discussing the owl sector event before RoI and Cayde mentions guardians aren’t good at standing still or off his table.
-
might as well the story of the game is so damn stupid . its not even funny
-
2 RepliesI personally don’t like it. It feels misplaced to me.
-
4 RepliesReading the lore on the dreaming city sword mentions guardians playing with a purple ball.
