Just wondering which Blocker do you guys/girls find to be the most efficient.
I personally hate finding Knights in the middle, they are fairly tough and take a bit of time to kill solo.
I find the Ogres go down quick, 2 sleeper shots and a handful of bullets.
The Centurions are easy to take down but when there’s 2 or more sent together, they protect each other and use up valuable time.
I played against a team once that sent nothing but Centurions and it was the hardest game I’ve ever played.
*Phalanx not Centurion.
Anyone correcting people for saying Centurion, that’s my fault.

Sorry to the small few that noticed (everyone) I put Centurion in the poll, it should have been Phalanx! Sorry for the the confusion.

Edited by Toometh: 10/10/2018 10:34:54 AM*Phalanx Not centurion But apart from that, I’d say knight. Those -blam!-ers have more health than the ogre and the fire is real annoying. EDIT: Forgot about phalanx blasting you away and blocking with the shields. Switching my pick to them.

1 ReplyPhalanx, because that's all I can afford. :P
-
2 RepliesCenturions. They can block with their shields AND blast you far away. They are the most annoying to deal with and therefore to me anyways, the most efficient. Send a bunch over and i promise the other team will have a bad time

7 RepliesShame we can't send randal as a blocker....
-
the ogre's. when they shoot you you go back
-
None of them take too long. Try a shotgun, 3 shots for small, 4 shots for medium and a clip for the large and it takes no time at all to kill them. How people play without a shotgun baffles me. Make it easy for yourself.
-
3 RepliesHm, didn’t know you could send Centurions. I should keep an arc weapon on me more often.
-
Swarming them with blockers is way more annoying than an Ogre.
-
I generally bank the motes after the wave get cleared which most of the time I’m at 10-15. Sidearms destroys everything in Gambit and allows you to quickly pick up motes
-
You mean phalanxes right? Like how do you mix those up?
-
I've given up on banking 15 motes. Nearly every game I get 15 motes, run back to the bank to solo kill the Ogre and Knight there, only to have another Ogre and Two Phalanxes spawn followed quickly by the enemy Invader. *Zelrons lost 15 Motes*
-
A pvp player. They cost 25 motes
-
The phalanx are more annoying with the shields so i constantly send those ill send ogre during prime evil
-
Doesnt matter at the end of the day. Usually, the first team to invade will generally win the game.
-
Phalanx*
-
I wish we had different banks to send different blockers
-
By centurions do you mean phalanxes?
-
The best "one" is 4 at the same time.

Shame we can't send randal as a blocker....

There are differing opinions on blocker tactics. A constant stream/barrage of small blockers can make for some serious confusion and delay in your opponents being able to bank their motes. Our team will generally rush to bank the first small blocker, and then begin a parade of centurions until we get the portal at 25 motes. In most cases, the parade gets the crowd to stop and look and we are able to set the opposing fireteam back on progress. That is, as long as my "garbage clanmates" can get a kill while invading. ;)

I personally enjoy the Centurions or the Ogre. I like running RiskRunner in my energy slot and as soon as I take a hit from either of those blockers I go into melt mode. The more Centurions the better due to the arc charge jumping between them. For me the Knight is the most cumbersome. Hits from afar with his flames. Likes to stomp, and jitter jump around. I find I die more from the Knight than I do the other 2 styles.

Solo 5 If they other team quickly kills 10 A team 10 or 15 due to one being a killer two being collectors and one being a floater
-
Small blockers are the best
-
3 RepliesThe knight. I swear he's more annoying than any of the other blockers
