i have a wemod trainer for fallout shelter mainly to mess around, i did not know i'd get banned in destiny. is there a way around this or am i stuck like this forever? i didn't do anything malicious like DDos someone or hack the game and yet having something as simple as a trainer for another game gets me banned. is there something i need to do?

Edited by Project Atom: 10/8/2018 9:37:55 AMWhy use a Trainer? Are you that inept at playing games? Any software that injects code whether it be for cheating or something similar will get triggered in Destiny 2 and the end result is what you have already discovered. Cheaters NEVER prosper.
i have a wemod trainer for fallout shelter mainly to mess around, i did not know i'd get banned in destiny.
Maybe you should have done some research on the policy then. They clearly said in the requirements and the license agreement you signed that if you run any kind of unsupported software, you can receive an account ban.
is there a way around this or am i stuck like this forever?
Please go read the Account Ban and Restriction Policy. It is pretty clear where it says "bans are permanent". It is also clear where it says "Bungie does not discuss individual account bans and restrictions".
i didn't do anything malicious like DDos someone or hack the game and yet having something as simple as a trainer for another game gets me banned. is there something i need to do?
You don't have to do anything malicious. You ran a software you should not have been running while running Destiny 2. Something Bungie warned not to do. You didn't heed that warning, got caught, and were punished. Nothing you can do because, as the policy says, Bungie does not discuss these things.

players that have ever been banned or restricted in any Bungie game are considered high-risk players. High-risk players are eligible for bans and restrictions at lower thresholds than players who have never been banned or restricted
Your pretty screwed tbh. Even if you start a new account, you are a high risk player now.

"A trainer is an application that intercepts and alters the memory addresses of a game that you have running in the background. Trainers allow gamers access to features similar to cheat codes,"
