This isn't necessarily critique of the current matchmaking in competitive, but i was just curious if Bungie has actually made it clear how it works? Again, this isn't to start a war between casuals and sweaties, but matchmaking seems rather inconsistent. I've been sitting at around 17-1800 glory for a few days now, and matchmaking seems very "hit-or-miss"; meaning that i can play with a team where everyone has above 2-3 efficiency when the match is done, while the opposing team are all below 0 - and in extension, sometimes the tables turn and i'm on the negative team. This isn't about solo vs. 4 stacking, but rather if Bungie has actually made it clear how matchmaking works, of if they keep it a secret?
